Two bodies, one mind. Two existences, one being. Two worlds that are drawing incredibly close to each other, and in the center is a monstrous killer that hides behind a mask, and a female Pegasus who's life has just begun. Only one these lives is real, while the other is just a dream... Or is it perhaps... a memory?

In a remote corner of the Solana Galaxy lies a backwater planet called Veldin. Nothing important ever happens there. Nothing exciting, either. Ratchet, a Lombax with no idea of his origins, is beginning to grow bored with his life, and dreams of excitement. He wishes on a falling star for some excitement to find its way into his life.

The falling star answers by crashing into his home in the form of a basket carrying a tiny creature with a horn, a pair of wings, and four hooves. The name on the basket reads "Twilight Sparkle".

Batman has defeated many foes in his life. The Joker, Two Face, The Riddler, Poison Ivy...just to name a few. However, no matter how hard he tries, there was one foe he could never defeat...Time.

Finally beaten, he admits defeat, ready to give up...

But a tiny white unicorn might have something to say about that. A single word that gives him hope. A legacy. A way for Batman to conquer time itself, even if Bruce Wayne cannot.

That word...is "Father".

At least, that's what the fates have decreed await him and Olympus.
