The blonde SOLDIER breathed deeply as he stared at the body of his fallen foe. It hadn't been an easy fight. He hadn't expected it to be, but then he hadn't expected his buster sword to go missing just before he unleashed the Omnislash upon him. However, he had found a good substitute in its place.
His silver haired opponent had been amused...right up until he took the siege ladder upside the head. The blonde SOLDIER had then proceeded to vent all his pent up frustrations, rage, guilt, and sorrow upon his foe, continuing long after his opponent had dropped his own oversized sword. As he did so, the siege ladder broke up into smaller, more manageable pieces, much like his fallen opponent.
At the end, the last broken piece of wood fell from his hand, and he stared down at the notecard that had appeared with the siege ladder. It promised to return his buster sword...but he found he didn't need it anymore. He had let it all go, and with a clear head and heart, he was ready to face his future. Had it ended with the force of the Omnislash, there would have been unresolved feelings, loose ends in his heart. But now...now he felt cleansed, and he could let go of the darkness in his heart, and his old opponent.
He wondered if Golden Saucer was still standing...and if Tifa wanted to take a trip there.

Kratos is the son of Zeus, and at one point becomes a god himself.
This is the wrong game world to complain about OP, since - other than the thing with her mane (the basis of which is canon) - she's done nothing Kratos doesn't do.
Besides, Kratos pulls his weapons out of nowhere, too.
Bashing things bluntly is better than slashing things cleanly.
Because you can feel the force of what you're bashing the other person with.
I'd also argue that his opponents sword isn't oversized. Just long. About one and a half people long.
Surprised that he didn't get the Barrett confession
That was just beautiful; Cloud killing Sephiroth with a siege ladder and finding peace thereafter
Now I kinda want to know what would happen if Pinkie pulled the Fire Rod or some other weapon from Hyrule Warriors out of her mane.

Sorry. Missed it.

The overuse could be worse.
A lot of people wanted to see her being raised by Deadpool.
5303813 Eh, Deadpool would be too easy. It's essentially the same character, separated only by species and gender.
It's much more fun to have two different personalities play off one another.
Oh, by the way? This scene was brilliant.

In regards to her views on killing:
Pinkie's relationship with the fourth wall - made all the more blatant since Kratos doesn't require a rational explanation for her abilities (heck, he'd find the act of trying to explain them inherently irrational) - means she's aware that "God of War" is a video game, and so to a certain extent perceives the world around her in those terms (her comment in earlier chapters about "bonus points" indicative of this). To her, the enemies she faces aren't people, they're game pieces, and life itself is a game she's playing. That perspective will change as time goes on, especially as Kratos starts to call her on a few things.
In regards to how the ponies will interact:
Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, and Fluttershy are (in Shy's case, were) all raised by those who saw killing as a fact of life. Rainbow and Rarity, though, are raised by those who value life. Yes, there will be some clash of viewpoints, but that will be addressed, and possibly be a plot point. (Even more so now you've brought it up.)
However, one caveat to remember. Batman wasn't averse to eliminating a genuine supernatural threat to the world by any means necessary (he in fact created weapons specifically to kill every member of the Justice League just in case they went rogue). So while killing for Rarity will be the final option and last resort, it will be an option.
Also, the Tony raising Rainbow does include the continuity where he was an arms dealer before he was a super hero (admittedly, he made weapons to be used by the government, but he still made super weapons), so killing is a reality to him, if an unpleasant one. So even Rainbow won't be completely averse...
5332534 MOAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, that was funny.

Thus, Advent Children was thankfully averted. No offense to anyone who likes it, but supposedly Cloud's character degraded because of it sooooo going with that being a positive.

Damn right; forget the flat-chested flower girl!
For all the previous chapters and this one, its nice to see Kratos has some tiny shred of humanity left, most people see him as a snarling death machine on legs-which is true, but its nice seeing his human side more, Spartan or not
Gilgamesh the mighty lord of epicness
Oh my goodness that was too funny! I can just picture cloud just beating the everloving snot out of sephiroth! Tatsurou I applaud you!
7080156 I can imagine Cloud using the ladder for an... Omnistep-ladder.
6047188 Gilgamesh wants to rebuild the ladder now. To ride Cloud's ladder to victory and all of the Barts he could ever look for would be on every rung... except to top and bottom few.
I know you can pick up chicks in a tank but can you pick up chicks on a siege ladder?
Borrowed weapons so far:
Valentine snake-sword
Buster Sword
I was wondering why we didn't see Cloud last chapter! Surprised he didn't care about getting his sword back, considering whose it was before him.
Given how he's still fighting Sephiroth and that the siege ladder was indirectly given to him by PINKIE, I was expecting some sort of crazy-awesome modification to the siege ladder a la what happened to the arbalest Pinkie loaned to Ivy (something like the siege ladder suddenly being made of dynamite sticks that exploded with every hit).
Oh well, at least Cloud can now start a relationship with his badass busty childhood friend without any emo baggage
Suck it Gainsborough.
because my brain = same or worse

Aerith’s last name. I always thought Cloud should have ended up with Tifa as opposed to pining over her.
Plot twist: Pinkie's responsible for the timeline shenanigans in Final Fantasy 7 Remake!
(Also reading a fic that reminded me of FF7R and said timeline stuff, with "Spike the Brony Dragon" using his metaknowledge of the show to make things better in the FiM timeline he found himself in, and Discord trying to discourage him from trying to change the timeline and stuff.)

That'd be a nightmare for the Whispers/Arbiters to fix.
