Dolphy Blue Drake

I used to not watch MLP much, but after reading fics on this site, I had to write my own. Today, I'm a passionate fan with few complete fics, but a firm desire to finish all of my fics.

About Me

Age: 28
Gender: Male (born that way, staying that way)
Sexual preference: Straight (I want a nuclear family with my own biological kids someday. Can't be anything else to fulfill that dream.)
Birthday: July 24
Nationality: American (native born) (15% Native American (Ute), 48% Danish, 35% German, 2% European "Mutt")
Religious affiliation: Mormon
Brony openness level: Public. My parents know and don't care at all.
Best ponies: Lyra (#1), Trixie (#2)
Favorite episode(s): Hard to decide
Favorite tags: Adventure, Romance, Thriller
Favorite ship: Lyraworthy
Hobbies (besides writing): Game design, playing video games, reading, Yu-Gi-Oh!, watching YouTube, drawing (pretty rusty at drawing, sadly).
Ponysona? Yes.
Ponysona's name? Captain Briny Sea
Member of other fandom(s)? Yes.
Which one(s)? Furry fandom. The character in my user avatar is my "furry" alter ego (aka: "fursona").

The Third Path (The Gray): The Path of Balance

Jedi, Sith, both are wrong. Both are extremes, lacking true balance. I am not Jedi. I am not Sith.

I am Gray. I follow the path of balance. Hear our words and find truth:

Flowing through all, there is balance
There is no peace without a passion to create
There is no passion without peace to guide
Knowledge stagnates without the strength to act
Power blinds without the serenity to see
There is freedom in life
There is purpose in death
The Force is all things and I am the Force

Look within yourself and discover truth. Gray is the true path. We, the Gray, hold the answers each side lacks.

Restored and Befriended League Creed

Today, writers are scorned because of those too unversed to know.
Disdained, because of the those too ignorant to believe.
Despised, because of the realists who are too afraid to dream.
Misunderstood, because others are too unsure to try.
But we, as writers, know them to be wrong.
A writer is a person who dreams.
A writer is a person who wishes.
A writer is a person who escapes.
A writer is a person who lives.
A writer is a person who is not afraid.
A writer is a person who strives.
A person who expresses.
A person who believes.
A person who understands.
A person who knows.
I am a writer.
I dream of a world where anything is possible.
I wish for a world where war is just a myth.
I escape into a world where I can predict the future.
I live in a world of joy and mystery.
I am not afraid of the world I create.
I strive in the world where others give up.
I express myself in ways others dare not try.
I believe in things others are too afraid to trust.
I understand things others cannot, in a way that others cannot.
I know, in ways that others deny.

What ship is Lyraworthy?

Huh. Well, I took inspiration from a game, where the people wanted to get back to Earth at any cost for 6k years, and I just thought, "What if TCB beat them to it?"

For them, their whole goal for 6k years was to get back to where their ancestors came from. They change so much, the dream changes to reestablish contact with Earth, but finding the cradle of humanity dehumanized doesn't sit well with them. They wanted to speak with their old home for the first time in 6k years, and humanity is gone. In the words of Johnny 5: "Unacceptable."

Since your one of the few people actively writing for the genre, I had an idea similar to your older story. In the beginning Humanity fled it's destruction as the barrier consumed the planet, and reached a new distant world swearing vengeance. Thousands of years pass, humanity rediscovers space flight and accidentally finds Earth and... Nobody cares anymore. Unlike the Lalandians humanity lost much of it's technology and started from scratch. Earth faded into a myth called the false salvation, hundreds of generations lived or died calling the New World their home, completely disconnected from Earth. Public opinion is to let them have it, as long as they're a threat to no one, there's groups of interest that would like to retake it but they're too weak and distant to do anything. Thus, the Earth remains silent, as people are more worried about the cold war between the Democratic Defense League, the Coalition of Free Republics, and the Sinjeon Cooperative Association, as well as the current Istreamer scandal

I use Grammarly (the free version) to check my spelling and grammar when typing online (however, it interferes with a couple sites, so I have to disable it on them. (This being one of them, unfortunately). But, what I meant is characters like î, ü, é, §, ∞, and more can be typed by just holding down option and hitting another key. You may need shift for some, but all of these characters that require Unicode input on a PC can have that bypassed. For example, for an ellipsis, hold down option and hit the semicolon. … There you go. As simple as typing a capital on a PC.
No, it doesn't affect your grammar. I was trying to say many of the four number Unicode characters can be typed without Unicode, but the "loss of a few characters" meant that not everything has a shortcut.

Back In Action, Baby! New Fic and Great News! · 9:12pm Mar 24th, 2019

Okay, yes, it's been a while since my last blog post, hasn't it? Well, I've got good news for my followers: I'm assembling a new team of co-authors, supporting authors, editors, etc. who will help me get a lot of my old fics back off the ground, proving they weren't dead, just merely comatose. This is an extensive process, but in the meantime, I've got a new fic! Don't worry, this time, I have an outline already stretching from beginning to end, so the fic should reach completion.
