Marble Pie has been waiting to hear three words for a long time. But today is the day she will hear them from the one dragon she cares about the most in the world.

The day after Hearthswarming, Marble and the others return to the Rock farm, and Marble ends up crying in the arms of her sister. Will her sisters be able to show the mare she is loved even if it's not the love she was searching for?

Hearth's Warming is a time for coming together, whether that means an estranged grandfather, a new very special somepony, or the distant cousin who you lost touch with after meeting said somepony.

Hearth's Warming Eve has brought the Apple and Pie families together for the past several years, sometimes for better and sometimes for worse.

Up late at night, Marble Pie doesn't know if any of it is for the better.

Written based on a general character/subject request for my very generous supporter IReadYouWrite.

When the Apple and Pie family members are paired up to find a stone hidden by Pinkie; Marble finds herself paired with the gentle giant, Big Mac. As much as she wants to seize the opportunity and get noticed by her sudden crush; her instincts push her into her shell and things get a tad awkward.

Can Marble overcome her shyness and grab the attention of the stoic stallion?

Limestone, Maud, and Marble Pie are sisters. Everypony knows that. What catches ponies off guard, however, is the fact that bouncy, loud, and boisterous Pinkie is also a Pie sister. But appearances can be deceiving, and sometimes, family bonds run deeper than first impressions can allow.

Marble was so excited for this Hearth’s Warming. She was finally going to do it; she was going to ask Big Mac if he had feelings for her! Sure, there was a small, tiny, gravel sized chance they might be cousins, but even if they were, it was so distant it wouldn't matter.

She had it all planned out, the mood, atmosphere, even the dress Maud helped her spruce up.

It would be perfect, it had to be perfect. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

Originally written for the Quills and Sofas Psychedelic Speedwrite with the prompts - 'the love we think we deserve' and 'the only option left'. Presented here with a little bit of editing and a couple hundred words of expansion.
