I hope Sombra d....
...oh, right...
jikes. fallen sombra sure was a cruel fuck.
at least he didn't skin him.
on a completely unrelated note, i have noticed that i can't read the word "waddle" and not giggle a little. i just like the word so much, it sounds so damn funny.
waddle waddle waddle
hehehe, im so fucking immature
5119275 Perhaps, but can she stop the nightmares?! I THINK NOT!!
nice dark start, the end and middle seems to be a "lost" start... you do fall behind on them
when i said loved Briarburner i didn't mean you could kill him the next chapter, he only lived for 2... you could had let him have some time before he went to meet his doom
5119307 Jiggle jiggle jiggle.
that schocked me more than the "dude gets murdert" Sceene since it seemd so Logical at first
PS: i love how you always realease a chapter shortly bevor i go to sleep so that im stuck thinking about the chapter while laying awake
not that i am complaining, who Needs sleep if you can read a good Story?
rules and laws serve another purpose. Different people have different perspectives, why a rule exists might not be clear for the some of the people following it. Breaking those rules could still be very bad. It is not even a matter of intelligence. Rules are only useless when every party involved understands why those rules are in place. If they do (and they are moral) then they would follow them. But rules allow people to act morally while they learn why the rules exist
5119266 *face plam* right. im am forgetful bastard
course
Is it weird that I read Evil Sombra's dialog in John Noble's voice?
Laws are there so bad people can get punished in a way that they cant bitch about
But if you don't have laws, on which basis can you judge and sentence the culprits? Without regulation what is to punish and how, every punishment could end in a lynchmob.
Oh, Bucky, I think they are. The fact you think they're unpleasant shows that you haven't lost all senses yet.
They show something you're - so I hope - never going to be.
Is Bucky going to visit the Crystal Empire someday? Wonder how that would turn out.
5119498
Good people get punished by these laws too.
5119498
5119540
Keep in mind what Bucky was. An armiger, and the rights that gave him to punish and even kill because of noble privilege.
Well shit, that was pretty damn dark. But I think we all knew something like that was coming from the conversation in the last chapter.
Their slave, yet he is taking her.
Also, if Derpy is the matriarch of the herd, then does she really have to declare her intentions? I get that it's something they've agreed to, but as head mare, surely she has the right to their stallion whenever she wants him.
Yeah, just a bit dark there, hermano.
This chapter is well balanced, dark then happy-ish!
So crystals absorb body parts, remember, Sombra's evil.
Who needs rules?
5119608
Technically, Derpy owns him. Remember the contract? He is branded with her mark.
5119622 In which case my point is just reinforced. Bucky belongs to her, but Derpy allows her fellow herd-mares to use him.
5119626
You said their slave. I guess I was confused. Only Derpy owns him.
5119633 Yes, but didn't either Luna or Celestia state he was their slave, and as Derpy was the alpha mare, it would be her mark he as branded with?
5119611
Cadance currently lives in that tower.
5119641
No. If Derpy fails, they both become Berry's slaves. And so on.
That's a rather astute observation of laws and such types of rules. And one of the many reasons you'll have a very healthy following for this story.
5119644 That just went from dark to so fucking dark not even a nuke going off can light it up!
*reads chapter title*
Eh, it can't be much worse than Sentinel's vore sex dream.

Black hole dark?
Utah Phillips, Ani Difranco - Anarchy
........ sighs........
i do not wnat to keep on asking questions but they always seem to pop up......... the spider one was a nitpick but here...............
5119803
Go ahead.
5119782
5119809 the problem i am having here is that if sombra was this much of a monster, then there is no way that they couldn't have sufered a considerable bit of harm from his return. even if he did not have the power to kill him he would have cause a lot more harm to shining than blocking his magic.
the events of the crystal empire thing went along the same lines as in the show from wht tiwlight said. however. sombra is far more of a monster than would have allowed them to go through that unscathed. especially if his tower is made of corpses pretty much.
the level of atrocity that sombra is does not seem to match up to his efforts during the crystal empire's return.
5119836
You missed some pretty important details in the story.
That's why you are having trouble.
But trust me, this is explained rather well.
It also explains why Sombra is both in Tartarus and running around in the world. In two divided parts.
5119626
Just because you have ownership of someone doesn't mean the universe bends reality so that they can't do anything without your permission, or make other people feel completely fine with it. I'm speaking from years of experience in the kinkster community as a dominant.
The sort of emotional strife that comes with in-fighting when the people involved are this close to you is massive. Just because she owns Bucky doesn't mean the other wives, who - despite not owning him as property - still have claim to him as their husband, will appreciate being told off and that Derpy can do whatever she pleases just because she's legally allowed to.
Derpy is the matriarch less because she is the nester and can be aggressive, and more because they approve of her being the matriarch. Because she is fair and cares for everyone and wants all of them to be happy. In a proper scuffle for dominance Derpy might not even come out on top. They look up to her because she looks out for them, and they all share their personal connections as well as their connection with Bucky. Her authority comes from that respect, and should she lose that respect she will lose that authority.
5119261 It seems it came back to normal
5119856 the creature that appeared is the manifestation of his darker side, right?
the dark side of a guy who brutally tore apart an old friend and made a tower out of crystallized gore completely separated from what shards of good still remained........
5119862
Every time there is a major crisis, who takes charge?
Bon Bon. Think back to the dream in chapter 100 and the various reactions around that. Or other family talks.
Bon Bon could easily be the alpha... and chooses not to be. Because Derpy does a better job.
And for the record, Bon Bon could totally take Derpy in a fight.
5119880
Yes.
A weak shadow of his former self that feeds on fear and has been the boogeypony of House Avarice foals for the past thousand years, slowly perverting them into madness.
5119881
Exactly. In terms of actual ability and disregarding problems and personality, the wife who'd come out on top is Lyra, followed by Bon Bon, then either Berry or Thistle depending on how near a body of water they are. Despite how aggressive Derpy can be and her pegasus nature, in a wife-fight she's probably bottom of the pile.
They defer to Derpy because she loves and respects them all, and times like right now - when she worries that she's done wrong by them.

The issue I have with Plato here is this is only true in a like-minded utopia, where everything exists in a simplified state. In a modern society, this proves false. Now, if the rules and laws weren't tendered by greedy fucks who only want to advance and protect their money, then they would exist for the purpose of reinforcing good decisions and common sense - because not everyone is very steady in either, even as good people. Rather than good people making easily-avoided bad decisions for some reason, that would paint them as a bad person in need of punishment, the rule or law would be there to say "Just don't do this." rather than them not realizing they're about to do something wrong, or not understanding the consequences of their seemingly innocent action.
Alas, modern human society is all about protecting investments. But as it stands, even people who aren't specifically evil will make worse choices and decisions without authority to tell them they really shouldn't do what it is they're about to do. Not everyone can see the web of events spreading out from their tiniest action and or whimsy. I see it as a way to check yourself and keep us all from turning into Derpy's iron backside, ambling about backwards and breaking everything behind us. The problem comes in at corruption, which I think is what Plato truly meant. "If mankind had a perfect communal sense of moralistic integrity, we would not need laws. But since we do not have that level of understanding, we do." That's before even reaching the malcontent who want to cause problems and hurt people for no reason at all.
5119894 a weak shadow but still a piece of something that depraved and evil. it lacks but i do not imagine it would lack in malice. and would be driven to inflict pain and harm.
5119836 If you allow me to answer.
First, ot was a small girls show. This is a very mature story. If kudzu were i ncharge, the cartoon would have blood levels that would make Jason look like a brat.
Also, at least in MY headcanon, Sombra wasn´t at full force yet...he was still weak and Cadence´s barrier only made him even weaker. His focus wasn´t on illogical kill, but only to prevent the crystal heart to be recovered. It as wiser to use only a small ammount of mana (wich he did not have much at that point) to gain time ´till the barrier was broken and the heart secured...only then, with more power, the onslaught could start.
5119948
Yes. It would. And in this story, it does.
5119948
It tried to turn all the crystal ponies into warrior-slaves. Forcing innocent and peace-loving people to murder in his name is extremely harmful and evil.
This matches up with canon. The fact Cadence and Shining there would show him he didn't have time to waste playing around torturing ponies for fun, since the Sisters would know he was back and would come to finish the job. Make sense?
5119958 kinda to sorta i guess. i need to find the time to reread the story but i get more behind every day.
5119413 that is, until some annoying bastard starts creating immoral or self-serving laws and rules... EDIT: P.S. who decides what's morally right or wrong anyways? What is right for some may be wrong for others and, and vise versa. Furthermore, what is publicly wrong can sometimes be correct in different circumstances.
OK, that was really disturbing.
Recommendation: You should have it where Cadence and Bucky figure out a way to release all the trapped souls and their physical forms that are now that really pretty tower.
(One shouldn't follow my insanity.)
5120480
The tower would vanish.
5120484 But the people would be rescued, would likely willing serve them and even if that is not possible. At least give them the freedom of dying instead of suffering for as long as that thing stands. (Them Crystal Ponies are pretty close to Earth Ponies in intellect, I'm sure they can construct another Crystal Heart focusing tower.)
