Okay, correct me if I'm wrong, but did we just skip over the entire trip there and the unloading of the food...? Cause even if the act wasn't super interesting that's kinda lame to skip over.

No. The train is currently in Saddle Arabia and leaving, heading back to Equestria. Now, we have an adventure.
Read it again.

Little details like this one are the indicators that they are just starting their trip home. One of many.
Ponies there didn't sound so bad, they where actually concerned about his mark.
About time Bucky broke twilight!
Ambush comin' right up?
Boop.
5109957
Maybe Twilight is breaking Bucky...
who in their right mind would combine garlic with mint????
Is this khyar by laban is a real thing or you just created it so it will be so foreign for us?
So... are all unicorns in Saddle Arabia pets, or just some of them?
5109967
IT'S DELICIOUS!
workoutdrinkbemerry.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/img_20140910_122020.jpg
Really. It is like one of the best things on earth. So good. Oh so good.
5109972
Most of them. And if you tried to free them, they would kill you. Those that aren't pets want to be pets.
5109982 I can see why. Lots of food, being taken care off... I assume in a pleasurable way as well!
I don't get the pun... is it a play on a real Arabian City?
Ooh... more action. I actually really liked the Isles Arc, the dark theme which reminds you that the world ain't full of sunshine and rainbows. Are there gonna be more arcs like that or is that as low as it gets. I guess not much more can happen to Bucky that he can still live with.
I found it very satisfying when he interrogated the mirror pony, how his scars now cause his enemies to fear him, scars that we as readers "lived" with as you wrote this, going through the growth that Bucky went through to become the Unicorn he is today

All they got to do is a little magic now and then.

Bahrain
A real city. Of course I went for a real location. The pun was awful though.
This characterization! Mmmm. So many details so little not-details.
If you think Applejack is just teasing you you have mistaken her for somepony who is not the Element of Honesty.
5109961 breaking bucky. New episodes every sunday
I think Twilight could do with a few therapy petting sessions with Bon Bon, or she just needs to find one of her own.
And what happened afterward was all kinds of magical.

To channel Sentinel, Twilight's filly bits need to be pounded.
Is it bad that I kept picturing Twilight's father as Groucho Marx?
Well, this was a delightful turn of events, and an excellent change of perspective on a foreign culture. Now I want some Na'an for some reason....
5109974 Oh dear lords yes.....
I waved at that place as it passed by. It's only a little bigger in person, (in comparison to the map) though...
5110122 Welcome to The Chase! you will forever be chasing down the latest chapter!
Wait, so who IS Pinkie with, anyway? Is she with Flash too? they need an Earth pony for their group; Twilight needs some serious hooves-on time.
5110154
Pinkie is not with Flash.
Pinkie's firstborn will be named Quiche. This is a clue.
5110058
To say that Twilight is obtuse is an understatement.
I ain't teasing.
Really, the girl is thick headed.

5110158
I thought it was rather obvious, but I'm calling it now: Cheese Sandwich.
Should be sound.
5110273
It was mentioned in the master shipping list blog post.
5109019
That's been pointed out to me & I'm not fond of that decision. I still think that it's kind of stupid, especially since Hurricane was one of the characters from the pageant actually referred to with pronouns in-show. Female pronouns.
5110308
I don't remember those. I remember the ponies speaking to one another out of character.
You and your awful, awful puns.
Also, I'm hoping there'll be some action; I can't handle going fifteen minutes without something dying a horrible, giblet-spraying death.
5110325
It was the scene where Pansy was say that she only really really disliked Hurricane where "her" was used. Sure "sir" was also used with hurricane, but since it's got a bit more freedom of use genderwise it's superseded by "her" when figuring out gender; "her" is unambiguous.
You could make a case for Fluttershy using the wrong pronoun, I guess, but that's a bit weird to put into a kids' show without pointing it out.
Though really I just don't like it because I'm fond of the idea of all of Equestria's founders being female.
5110308
From the show script. SIR. Masculine pronouns. Used MANY times.
Every instance in the show Hurricane is referred to as SIR.
5110273
Of course.
5110351
I didn't see the word "her" used in reference to Hurricane.
So is the Chase verse and the Mail Order Orphan verse the same, or just parts?
5110351
So why must all the Founders be female?
I suppose that is a better question.
5110353
Not in this instance. & already mentioned the part about being referred to as "sir".
5110366
Different verses.
5110368
Mostly that the characters are usually female. & what comes to mind for me is a gender reversed set of Founding Fathers (I'm United States of American).
Really though, it's just personal preference.
5110373
I always assumed that was because the actress (RD) was female, and that the play was using rule 63.
But again, that could be just me.
5110394
Usually when a female actress plays a male character, they use male pronouns thru-out.
Especially if the character is a real life historical figure, which Hurricane is in-universe.
5110406
Ah. I was thinking about one version of A Christmas Carol, where Scrooge was a modern business woman (Ebbie), and was drawing a parallel from that. But you're right about the history thing, so that shows what I know.
5110347
Oh there will be action!
Berry would be berry mortified about that city.
5110353
Doesn't mean anything, there are instances where even female officers, military or not, are referred to as "sir", some civilian women don't like being called "ma'am".
At first I read that whole bit about Twilight going a wee bit off the rails and laughed.
Then I read the author's note and clicked the link. And laughed some more.
5110533
True.
I wonder how many women were called "sir" a thousand years ago during our medieval era.
5110543
I'd imagine not one.
