When Twilight first began her experiments in trying to figure out better ways to access the Aether, the realm of magic and souls just outside their physical realm, she did not expect to make significant progress. After all, pony kind has been trying to find out the answer to that line of thinking for centuries.

When she felt herself connect to the other realm Twilight accidentally manipulated its energies in a different sort of way. The Aether bent to her will much easier than before. Getting just a bit too excited, Twilight played with the Aether a tad too freely and the reality-bending powers of the outer realm sucked her into its bottomless depths.

Fortunately Twilight was able to direct herself back to the material realm using the closest, and brightest, soul she could find as an anchor. And the second she looked up at the skull of the skeleton sitting on top of a golden throne, she knew life was about to get more... interesting.

Getting hit by a truck usually hurt's when you're awake during it. Not for me though; I got sent somewhere else by it. A man suddenly finds himself in Tartarus, no clue how he got there, and no idea how to get out, yet. As time continues forward he grows closer to the creatures locked up there. But one day new knowledge is found that could change everything. Will the human still be the same man as when he got there? Will Tirek finally get a heart as red as he is? And will everybody's favorite guard dog get his belly rubs!? (Hint: Yes, yes he will)

The Royal Guard has gone through its latest blunder and Princess Celestia has had enough. In an effort to whip the guard in shape, she entrusts Princess Luna to hire new advisors. Little did she know who Luna would decide to bring.

A human living in Canterlot castle is given to Queen Chrysalis as part of peace negotiations between Equestria and the Hive. Celestia knew she shouldn't have let Luna finish the negotiations herself.

After a less than stellar first impression, Derpy Hooves and the human struggle to quell the rumors surrounding his diet, and convince the townsfolk that he's harmless.

Will the human be able to make himself meek enough to coexist? Or will he be driven out of town with torches and pitchforks?

Each chapter is told from the perspective of a different pony.
