He has no friends or family, no plans for the future. No destiny to tell him what to do, and no great feat to have elevated him apparently royal status; So why are those two so keen on helping him?

Hi. I’m Anon. Your run of the mill asshole. A proud one at that. When I came to this world, the princesses didn’t expect much. Then, they saw how I was good at picking up mistakes. So, they made me a functioning person in society. A mostly pony society. Ponies and other creature would be expecting to be welcomed by a warm hearted pony. Instead, they got me.

She just wanted a small one to hold, cherish, and raise. Nature had cruelly denied her the option. It would seem that Equestria stands ready to offer an alternative. It's even free, of cash demands at least. As a dragon, she must learn to tend to new mouths in need of expert talons and teeth, which she'd have to gain in a hurry.

A man with troubled childhood is reborn as the bastard child of Queen Chrysalis and Shining Armor as a result of the latter being influenced by the spell of the Changeling Queen. The child refuses to trust his would be mother and the Queen struggles with conflicting feelings towards her new spawn. This new life shall bring out the best in the worst people and the worst from the best people.

Shaun Gray—Only human in Equestria, professional magic sponge, and unwilling participant in the School of Friendship’s relentless optimism—just wants to brood in peace. Too bad Princess Twilight (aka "She who should be feared") shoved him into a pastel hellhole where ponies treat emotional vulnerability like a competitive sport.
Now he’s stuck with:

• Smolder, a dragon who breathes fire and terrible life choices,
• Gallus, a griffon with the survival instincts of a concussed pigeon,
• And a curriculum that insists sharing feelings is somehow not a form of psychological warfare.

Armed with sarcasm, a hoodie, and an existential dread of group projects, Shaun must navigate:

• Pinkie Pie’s "trust exercises" (read: trauma bonding),
• Twilight’s attempts to dissect him like a frog in science class,
• And the horrifying realization that his new friends might be worth keeping—if they don’t kill him first.

Themes: Found family (unwillingly), emotional damage (willingly), and why you should never promise a dragon "anything."

TL;DR: A snarky void of a man is adopted by rainbow ponies against his will. Chaos (and grudging affection) ensues.

You've seen Human-in-Equestria stories of many types. You've seen them remain human. Given their own pony-body; be it filly or adult. You've seen them take the role of characters in the show. You may have even seen them from birth into this new life.

But, in some stories, they aren't given their own body. The laws-of-physics demands that a new body cannot be formed out of nothing, so when transplanted into Equestria, they are placed into the body of an existing pony. But what happens to that pony? What if they stick around?

Meet Melissa. Transported into Equestria, and into the body of Apple Turnover. However, Apple Turnover is still present within his own body too. Now with two minds at the helm of this pony, the challenge begins of discovering what caused this, and trying to fix it.

Welcome to my first fic, and the first bit of creative writing I've done for a long time. Please be warned, this story will eventually be covering themes of familial-drama, crisis of gender identity, and in terms of potential kinks transformation (although it won't be sexual or graphic.) alongside other potentially triggering topics that I will warn of as the story progresses. After being turned into a foal, Twilight believes this is the much needed opportunity to set Anon straight. And who better to do it than the hard-working pony Applejack? Only Applejack severely underestimates Anon as a foal.

Twilight has been summoned to Canterlot to discuss whether or not Anon deserves a second chance or be banished. Twilight is hopeful she can convince the ponies he can be redeemed but Anon's list of complaints strongly go against him.

Can Twilight save Anon from being banished? Probably not.

Once again, Anon had managed to upset more of the townsfolk of Ponyville. Twilight figured she should address the complaints herself this time but Applejack insists on attending this one.

Living in Ponyville for a short time Anon still has a lot to learn of how to behave amongst the ponies. Only after a month in he has managed to get on a lot of pony’s nerves with his whacky antics.

So Twilight and Fluttershy sit Anon down to explain why his behaviour is unacceptable and needs to change. If only Fluttershy was a little more helpful…
