“There's a time and place for everything, and I believe it’s called 'fan fiction'.”
― Joss Whedon
Well, I'm an author, if you haven't figured that out yet. I love to write about ponies, but I'm also kind of a sadist, so I love making terrible things happen to them. Something about obliterating the happiness that most citizens of Equestria frolic in brings a sick joy to my shriveled heart. However, as an author, I am also, by necessity, a reader. I also love reading about sad, or dark and tragic events.
Guilt, grief, fear, loneliness, torment, despair.
These are the emotions I feed off of, and hunger for. They are delicious. If the pages of your story drip with any or all of these, I want it. I need it.
If I laugh at your story, we are both horrible people, so give yourself a pat on the back. If I describe your story using taste related descriptors, then it is a deliciously dark dessert, which I shall devour with delight.
And if you want to read one of my stories, prepare yourself. I have warned you of the darkness that lies in my heart; I have no sympathy for your favorite character. In fact, you'd better hope (s)he isn't one of my favorites as well, or hell hath no fury like the musings of my twisted mind.
Do feel free to leave comments suggesting stories you think I'd like, though I never read stories right away. They are placed in my read later list, which I then peruse as wanted on a spur of the moment basis. I find it easier to read stories of the genre I'm in the mood for if I can pick from a list I've already decided I want to read.
Finally, I am a writer, but a reviewer as well. Not born, but raised in the bowels of /fic/, I have been brought up with a knowledge of writing I only wish I could emulate in my own stories. I have found a love for the critiquing of others' work in the hopes that they will grow stronger as a writer, and produce more delicious stories for me to read. Heehee. Seriously though, I'll look at your stuff if you ask nicely and if it's interesting in Google Document form, but I'm far more critical if I'm not reading just for fun. In any case, remember: Never stop writing.
“You either have to write or you shouldn't be writing. That's all.”

Uh huh. Gee. That’s a shame. I was hoping to ask you why the author stopped writing the story. But obviously you’re not the person I should be speaking with. Are you? No of course not. You said as much.
I’d ask the author himself, but he’s been off-line since last September.

What??? Nooooooo. That would be ridiculous
Aren’t you Rainstream from the story “A Pinch of Paprika” by Doldrum of Despair? Your profile pic looks just like her.

Same to you. How goes the weight loss?
And I think it has been years. Linecon2019, if I'm not mistaken. I recognized your patch jacket but you didn't look like you. I still feel bad about that. I hope you're fairing better these days.
Hey! I remember you! We haven't interacted in... shit, years probably. But I remember you being good peoples. Thanks for the support you gave me back in the day, and I hope life is treating you fair. Stay awesome!
