This story is a sequel to the dragon's den dream

two weeks after being offered the contract, spike decided to accept it and return home to meet his birth-parents; not just for him but so that he may protect all of his friends. unfortunately neither twilight nor the others see it that way and will be willing to go through tartarus and back to retrieve their friend. worse still, spike's new noble dragon friends would do the same to ensure that he arrives at the vlemm enclave. And when certain members of royalty get involved not just from equestria, but the other kingdoms as well. Then there will be enough chaos in the land to make discord shed tears of joy.

Throughout most of his life, one question had been on Spike's mind since moving to Ponyville with Twilight. Who were his parents? It was something that he didn't think about too much, but was a question that happened to come back around whenever Twilight and her friends talked about family.

One day, a couple of dragons that claim to be sent by their queen arrive in Ponyville. At first glance, Spike thought that they were diplomats sent to discuss important matters with Twilight. Something that he doesn't usually take part in since he wasn't really experienced in such matters.

However, things take a bit of a different turn. For the dragons weren't looking for Twilight... They were looking for him.

It was about time I tried to write a story with Spike the dragon.

There's supposed to be a sad tag on this story but I have too much already.

It started when they first met. A growing flame that began to burn in their hearts. It was unknown to them what this flame was, but it grew stronger as they got older and their feelings moved on from friendship to something else. Some fires grow slowly, but when given time they burn more passionate and brighter then any volcano.

After being defeated by Law, spirit of order, Discord scatters them to the farthest corners of Equestria.
Now the Elements must become stronger, learn new means of fighting, and turn into the heroes they were meant to be.

In the Western Ocean, Rainbow Dash becomes a pirate captain. Loyalty to her crew and her friends will be tested as she learns to command the wind. She will battle with swords and rifles. Most of all she will have to learn the history of the vast sea.

Up in the Crystal Mountains, Spike will grow and mature as he trains with a dying order of peace loving dragons. Temptations will present themselves to hinder Spike's dedication to his friends. One million scrolls is nothing for the scribe of Princess Twilight.

Far east, Pinkie Pie stumbles into a secret village. Her obnoxiousness might be the end of her. Will laughter be heard in the village of silence?

Sunset Shimmer never thought she'd return to Equestria. She was happy to be wrong. Now that a great evil threatens to take her home away from her, she must learn the power of her voice to find a place she belongs.

The unicorn kingdom is cold and cruel. A generous mare like Rarity will have trouble surviving the harsh tundra. Will the common folk be thankful enough to help her or will the vile nobles slam their iron hooves on them.

Fluttershy is happy to find a good friend in her time of need. However, when new laws pass that prevent her from aiding him and his family legally. Fluttershy will turn to nefarious means of profit.

When Zecora came to her village, Applejack was suspicious. She never trusted strange ponies from foreign lands. Now the tables have turned and Applejack has become a stranger in a strange land. She must learn to trust strangers if she wishes to return to her family and friends.

The Badlands. The place where exiles go. A harsh desert wasteland full of monsters and psychopaths. Twilight will be forced though many trials in this land. Will she keep her sanity or will madness claim her fragile mind.

In the end; Law must be defeated.

Spike was filled with doubts, confusion and fear on where he fitted in the world. It scared him to think that he was nothing to his friends, to Twilight. After finding out the hard truth in an argument, he realises that this bond he shared with them was nothing but a mere illusion, a painful lie that shattered him completely. Becoming lost in his own misery, he runs away only to be taken by an offer.

A few months pass and struggling to manage, Twilight comes to terms with her mistakes and the search for Spike dies down. Seeking vengeance, past threats are united through fear by a demented alchemist who wishes to twist and ruin Equestria with the power of terror.

In a desperate attempt to try and find Spike once more, Twilight and her friends must overcome their greatest fears.

Twilight's gone. In her battle through time, she died, a victim of an alternate timeline. Starlight is defeated, but at what cost?

Spike's lost the pony that's always loved him, the one who acted as a mother, sister, teacher, and best friend. Now he's in pain... but he's not alone. Because Twilight's friends have vowed not to let him become an orphan. In place of one mother, five will now raise him.

Spike has had enough of being treated as a slave instead of a friend. He works, cleans, does chores for Twilight and her friends, and gets abandoned. Being sick and tired of being used as a tool, an object for his so-called friends, he wishes for better life without them. Little did he know that his wish was going to grant him the best adventure ever.

While Spike is gone, Discord is going to disguise himself as Spike to see if Twilight and her friends are worthy to be Spike's friends or not. Change is on the horizon in Equestria for everyone. However, some changes are not for everyone.

Thenewbluebrony sent me a gift. An artwork of Spike's Fairy Tail Emblem on his chest. In honor of the gift, I've decided to make it my cover art image for the story after the 200th chapter.

I lost count of how many times the story was featured after 100 times but it started on June 16th, 2021 since I mainly publish chapters late at night. (Habit of mine)
