Why I think it's worth? Well, it was one time, don't know how to check it, in featured box, tittle was interesting (I like Sci-Fi), started reading, stopped when ended and asked "what? Already? I want more!". For me it is the best recomendation. ;)
Don't want to spoiler to much, but... I'm still amazed by amout of world building. It also adressess some problems like immortality of alicorns, clones and evolution, and "world draining" and what will hapen when world end up... empty.
One of my favourite stories, if not THE favourite.

This is probably the SunDagio story I've been most pleased with in the past several months. Some hiccups in the prose aside, I think it did a really good job of selling the relationship between a heroine and a villain in a way that didn't compromise the nature of the latter, and it presented a great way for Adagio to deal with the loss of her singing voice. It convinced me right away that the two were good matches for each other, which made for a gripping read when the drama started to escalate. Not perfect, but a lovely first foray into pony fiction, and one which I'd love to see getting more recognition.

Pitch: This author makes Nightmare Moon scary again. Vesperal Breeze is a compelling and conflicted villain protagonist who hears whispers of the Old Gods when she sleeps. The reader follows Vesperal’s diabolical research into the Equestrian occult as she tries to understand her “gifts” and possibly harness them to slay her own demons.

Influence’s prose is professional and dense, and the slow reveal of Vesperal’s backstory gives the reader something solid to latch onto amidst the wider, more abyssal mythos that is being developed in tandem. Recurring motifs include flying vs swimming, white candles vs red wine, and lucid dreaming vs psychotic consciousness.

This fic is actually the second installment in Vesperal’s story, but it’s the one I’m recommending because it’s more action-oriented than the first. This is especially true in the climax when Vesperal must battle her first supernatural foe.
