I wrote this when Hasbro decided to make the G4 Cupcake toy before making most of the ponies from the cast of the MLP FIM. The box art of the toy was a recoloring of Fluttershy, as an earth pony, and the description of her was the first line in the description here.
After writing this I later found out that Cupcake has been a MLP toy since G1, and been reincarnated through the toy line for every toy generation.

I loved this story. It's deliciously disturbed.
I was just this very day thinking that our little G4 friends needed some creative soul to build real stories and personalities out of Hasbro's vapid one-liners, so I couldn't click the link fast enough when I saw this title in a "similar stories" list. Looks like dear Cupcake is already well taken care of! I'm not sure how the average rating for this got so low, I adored it.
This story has inspired A LOT in my own fanfiction!! And I mean a lot!

She also inspired a pegasus who appears in RD's chapter, and who appears in later chapters.
Poor Cupcake, you don't know whether to be happy for her since she's so obviously happy, or sad because she's so very delusional. Did she even visit the ponies mentioned in the story? Or was that all in her head?
