It's been 500 years since the villainous forces of Equestria teamed up and conquered all of Equestria for themselves, separating territory amongst themselves. Luna, who had barely survived the onslaught, decided to live a quiet life in a land far away from Equestria. But one day an old friend shows up to ask a favour of her.
Inspired by the Old Man Logan comic written by Mark Millar. I must admit, this is darker than the stuff I usually write but I can assure you it ain't going to be that dark. Special thanks to Darkiplier1383 for giving me the idea. Cover art is merely the Sad Luna pic by Aespurus but with the colours changed and Discord and Tirek pasted on it. No idea who made the pic of Discord riding a Death Star though.

I meant that, since Celestia hasn't moved the sun for obvious reasons, Luna hasn't moved the moon either because she is living a simpler life. Therefore, the sun and the moon are floating close to one another but not to the point that it would make a full-on solar eclipse (if any of that makes any sense). Ah, but that's where you're wrong. It is not word for word and, while I won't go into specifics, this story does things slightly out-of-order AND has original moments and flashbacks.
But if you think you already know what's going to happen, by all means, enlighten me.
EDIT: Also, some of the character roles are either different, given to other characters or expanded upon.
According to this map, there's a lot of territory that isn't owned by anyone. Reminds me of the Neutral Zone from The Man In The High Castle, actually. It's probably not intentional, but it's still interesting. XD
Maybe a resistance movement can pop up (possibly in that neutral territory) that Discord and Luna can get involved with, just to make the story a bit more original. Not just a superhero team but an actual 'Vive la France!'-style resistance movement. Maybe even bring someone familiar back from the dead to lead it (or have one of their descendants/relatives do it).

I have not yet started reading this story, but its synopsis I was interested in (since I am a fan of the "old Logan"). However, since in the universe of the mlp is not so many heroes and villains I'm very interested to know if there are locations named in the honor of the fallen heroes? (By analogy with the Logan "hammered village" or "Crossroads of Pima") if not it can somewhere on the backdrop of the place to be placed for example, the grave Doctor Whooves in the form of a gigantic destroyed Tardis.

True but I felt Luna had more of a dynamic with Discord (dunno why, guess it's just me). But, to be fair, Hawkeye did start out as a (reluctant) foe of the Avengers before joining them and the Hawkeye seen in Old Man Logan has quite the beard, just like Discord.
I like the idea, the execution could stand to be a bit better though. It’s not my cup of tea.
I do have one suggestion for you, you have mixed tenses, either make them all present tense, or make them all past tense, it’s not too hard to do.
