Leondude

Hello, Leon Davies here, also known as TheLeondude or just Leondude. Animator, voice actor, writer, autistic British egomaniac, Dark Lord of the Sith etc.

While Celestia did everything in her power to prepare Twilight for her role as her successor (whether she wanted it or not), the one thing she did not prepare her for was the duties of her sister. And it’s a little difficult for Twilight to rule Equestria in the day if she couldn’t even govern the dream realm.

Luckily, she had a certain guidance counsellor on hoof.

this is going to backfire spectacularly, kinda cruel to just leave Chrysalis like that common starlight that could have been the first step to redemption for her oh well, visiting trixie gonna be funny hmm what would the funniest thing be maybe her dreaming about sunburst and starlight reaction

Did you really have to do a lazy, and pointless I feel, self insert? Yes, I know that was you there in the middle. Great story except for that part.

“I hope you brought bug spray before showing up, Discount Twilight.”

Forget that what you really need is a flamethrower!

It felt like we could have had Starlight go to one or two more dreams, but this story still gave me a laugh.

Yeah, I could have left that out but, when it comes to comedic one-shots, I feel like giving my OC (Lion Dude) a cameo.

Oh, and to show how rough Starlight's new job is. :rainbowlaugh:

Yeah. A big flamethrower.

This was an enjoyable read. I wonder what Starlight saw in Trixie's dream...

Actually, Luna can't transfer her dream powers because it is established that they are part of her cutie mark talent.

Remember, Luna could not do anything in Starlights dream because Celestia had her cutie mark, so only Celestia could do anything. " You got my (cutie mark) magic, remember?" (While pointing to her mark on Celestias flank) "It's got to be you!"

They only reason Twilight had any effect on the Tantabus was because it was an outside force.

So Luna would continue to govern the dream realm.

But if Luna can still govern the dream realm, what was the point of her retiring with her sister?

“I see,” Starlight said as she picked up a cup of coffee from her desk and sipped it, “Well, if there are no other options, I suppose I’ll have to be the new Princess of the Night.”

"I see" OMG MEMES

I 💜 Memes.

Because fuck common sense by Hasbro, that's why. Celestia retiring makes sense. Luna's doesn't. If she had stayed and ruled alongside Twilight, it would've made more sense.

Because they wanted a reason to shoehorn in the whole “changing times” and “Princess Twilight” ending, and it being a show aimed at little kids, they decided “fuck complexity and realism and the fact Luna was away for 1000 years”

This was enjoyable, but wayyyyy too short imo. This feels like a topic that’s just begging for a deep dive!

Perhaps someday, I'll write a sequel to it.

As soon as I cleared out my schedule and maybe finish a couple of stories I put on hiatus. :twilightsheepish:
