I saw this character design and absolutely had to write a story about this chick. Cause DAYUM.

We all know how the story goes. About how Twilight found and united the Elements of Harmony and defeated Nightmare Moon, preventing the world from going dark and giving Luna a chance for redemption.

However, what if one of the Mane Six hadn't been a normal pony but a monster that was shunned and feared by others? How would the story have gone?

Follow us now as we tell the same story, only this time Fluttershy, the Element of Kindness is not a normal pegasus, but instead is a gorgony. A creature with snakes for a mane and can turn any creature to stone with a glance.

Out of all the mythical creatures I have read about my top favorite are vampires and gorgons. So I was greatly dismayed when I saw how few stories there were that had actual gorgon ponies in them, here on FiMFiction. Thus I decided to write this little fic. I hope you all enjoy.

While I only intended to cover the first two episodes of the show (the pilot episodes), if enough people are interested I may try to create some more stories with Gorgon-shy based around other episodes in the series.

However, all of that changed when they vanished for a thousand years, ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity. Until that is, when the Crystal Kingdom reappeared, along with one of the Shepherds. King Sombra, however, was thankfully vanquished swiftly, but the following peace of his defeat would not last as long as anypony might think. A new force sets its eyes on the recently coronated Princess Twilight Sparkle, one that seeks to restore a lost heritage and remind the land of who is the true owner of the night. For when one evil is smitten, another appears in its place. And King Sombra was only the first in line.

Tyler Reece, a Paleontologist, who has lived a rather boring life, fins the discovery of the century. An evolved Tyrannosaurus Rex. Larger, meaner, and more predatory. It dwarfs the previous incarnation, by becoming slightly larger than a Spinosaurus, and having the weight to match. Of course there was only so much to gauge from the bones, but of course, while Tyler is trying to bask in his short glory, he is taken to a far off world.

However, luckily for Tyler he's not defenseless, as he controls the body of the most powerful predator in that world: the world of Equus.

A world filled with colorful....talking ponies....who are herbivores....Yep....

May 25, 2014: I GOT FEATURED! HOLY CRAP THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Based on Letters from an Irritated Princess by Tired Old Man, written in the same format, with the same sort of thing going on more or less, but, with said letters written by the Evil Empress, Daybreaker herself, instead of her goody-goody counterpart. Permission for this was given to me by Tired Old Man himself!

Ah, letters. To some, letters are a means for friendly, long distance communication. To others, they are a way of informing you that you are late on your monthly payment. But, for Empress Daybreaker? Well, they're a way of expressing displeasure, annoyance, evil amusement, ransom demands, and other things.

Basically, they're for making her subjects twitch in fear. Lots of fear. Whether it be of her wrath, or the horrors her evil mischieviousness will bring to her subjects.

Princess Luna, Sunset Shimmer, and the Great and Powerful Trixie meet in a bar every Friday for drinks and to chat.

This is what they chat about.

An episodic story updated whenever I think of anything new. Will probably never be marked "Complete".
