You've seen Human-in-Equestria stories where they remain human. You've seen them when they've woken up with their own body; be it a filly or an adult. You've seen them take on the role of characters in the show. You may have even seen when they are newborn into their new life.
But what happens when none-of-the-above is the case. That a human's conscience is transplanted into Equestria, but due to laws-of-physics shenanigans, a new body cannot be formed out of nothing. They are transplanted into the life of an existing pony. But what happens to that pony? What if they stick around?
That is what had happened to Melissa. Transported into Equestria, and into the body of Apple Turnover. However, Apple Turnover is also still present in his own body. Now with two minds at the helm of this pony, the challenge begins of discovering what caused this, and trying to fix it.
Welcome to my first fic, and the first bit of creative writing I've done for a long time. Please be warned, this story will eventually be covering themes of familial-drama, crisis of gender identity, and other potentially triggering topics that I will warn of as the story progresses.
