War. Noun. (1) : a state of armed conflict between different nations or states or different groups within a nation or state.

"Soldiers are always preparing to fight the previous war" is a saying that is common amongst those of military profession. Equestria has not seen a war on her own soil in several hundred years. As such, would she be prepared for when such a thing happens? Of course not.

Battling the griffons and the minotaurs has been a challenge due to lack of experience. Fortunately, her armies adapted and started to hold her own. That was, until Tirek returned and aided in the fight to defeat Equestria. To keep his friends safe, Discord successfully defeated Tirek and sealed him away. The cost of fighting Tirek? Dying. Knowing that he would die, Discord summoned several creatures to protect his friends. These creatures, never seen before in Equestria, are very familiar with the concept of war.

This world has experienced their second industrial revolution and Equestria is at war, a World War, the first this world has seen. Equestria and her citizens have a lot to learn if they want to see the end of this conflict with their culture and way of life preserved.

An evil force is about to be unleash on Equestria. Kay the brony, Josh the otaku and Yuri the russian mercenary are sent to Equestria to fight the evil force, saving Equestria from total annilation. They will fight to the end, and find love. Rated M for swearing, violence and other stuff.

It takes a certain kind of pony to become a personal servant to the princesses. One must have patience, grace, a clever head, and be a problem solver.

Dapper Dash is one such pony.

Although skeptical about the idea of having a personal butler, Dapper Dash soon proves he is anything but an ordinary butler. While most ponies would be rattled or nervous around Celestia and Luna, he seems to be calm, and even managing to keep up with them.

He's a true gentlecolt, and not only that, he is quite the learned stallion, impressing even princesses. Clearly he is more than than he seems, but not much is known about him. With the drama around the palace it may be good to have an ally that can think on his hooves.

After all, a butler is there to make life easier for their charges.

Lord Tempestus once lead armies under the banner of King Lunarum. Five crusades, five victories. Only, his final crusade ended in disaster with the banishment of the Crystal Empire. A thousand years later the Captain General is pulled out of the dungeon and brought back into the light. Without wars to fight, and with Equestria no longer in need of his military prowess he finds himself at a loss of what to do. Life finds him, and he decides to share his story with those who will listen.

Anon is the last survivor of the Platoon sent to a planet called Tranek-5. After activating some sort of device, Private Anonymous , Colonial Marine Rifleman, winds up in Equestria. He tries to move on, but he's not the only foreigner to Equestria.

Waking up underneath the sea in the body of a pony mixed with a world war 2 warship was defiantly not how the newly named Yamato thought her morning would go. But since it did, she was going to find just what had brought her to this foreign land and fused her with a ship. Now she and three thousand members of her crew prowl the Oceans of Equis, intent on finding the rainbow light that seemingly brought her here. But Yamato's return has stirred up the ocean floor, and creatures never before seen rise from the Abyss to claim the oceans as theirs.

Will Yamato wield her cannons in defense of the innocent life of Equis? Or will she turn her 18' turrets on those who would prevent her from returning to her previous life? Humanity send in a mechanical beast to explore a new world they just recently discovered; however, this world wasn’t uninhabited. Now the machine documents everything these unusual, yet intriguing creatures have to show…but will the creatures the machine discovered be welcoming to its creators, or not? Update 11/08/2020 - okay so....I'm at a lost for how to take this fic further, at the moment! so for the time being, I'm deciding to label this fic as Complete, but will make a sequel that will continue the story.
