Chapter 43: From Spears to Rifles
Equestria's new military base
Josh, now the captain of the Equestria's military, is now waiting for the arrival of his friends. After a few minutes, a chopper arrived and landed on the helipad. Two figures exited the chopper and greeted by Josh.
Josh: Staff Sergeant Lopez. Lieutenant Commander Kravchenko. Welcome to the new face of Equestria's military.
Kay: Since when the hell we get ranks?
Josh: Since we kicked ass. Come on, lemme show you two around.
Yuri: Looks like I got my old rank back.
As they're walk around the base, they are surrounded by pony soldiers marching pass them, tanks deploying and humvees with mounted guns. On the skies, military helicopters and jets fly above them.
Josh: What you see here is the new age of Equestria. Rifles, tanks, missiles, and soldier willing to fight for this land.
Yuri: One question. How do they learn to use weapons so fast?
Josh: Let's just say that they are fast learners than Kay.
Kay: Yeah yeah, whatever.
Josh: When we need changes, we need changes. Our forces are ready to fight this new enemy.
Kay: So, any news about that asshole?
Josh: We detected enemy troops all around Equestria and the numbers just keep growing.
Yuri: He's ready for war, da?
Josh: Yeah. Right now, we are almost at war. So we are going to get really busy. But before that, let's spend one last time at Ponyville. Just incase if you...well, you know.
Kay: We survived lot's of time, Josh.
Josh: This time, it'll be diferrent.
The three stay quite for a moment before Josh break the silences.
Josh: Let's go back and spend more time with them, then we say our last "good bye".
