When I saw the title, I had a feeling I knew what would happen.
Now, my fears were confirmed, and Wallflower B***h has the memory stone. I can only imagine how badly this is going to go.
1. Ohhh NOO
2. When Wallflower said, "Rug Muncher" I literally stopped and paused before laughing.
Such a good chapter, can't wait to see how things continue to get chaotic :D
Well, this entire chapter was just me saying the words "Oh no. Oh no" over and over again.
Oof. No laughs from me. Can't say I care about this version of Wallflower. But, personal taste and all that. I'll deal.
She is going to use the stone to make Twilight forget about (parts of) her research I'm guessing. And maybe even about Sunset. Worse scenarios occur to me even, there are other parties besides Wallflower that can do even more damage if they got the stone.
Majadin stop buying oil tankers full of manure to feed into your windmills. This can only go down from here with Wallflower being able to rewrite Twilight's memory.
Well, I don't want to say much on Wallflower to avoid sounding like a broken record but...
Wally's got the Memory Stone.... that's not good...
She figures out how it works, she might try and make Twilight forget Sunset, similar to what she did in canon with all of the Rainbooms...
I am curious if the Memory stone being activated would've set off Sunset's magical sense. I mean, she was close by...
It's a good thing Twilight is constantly making audio diaries/journals because I think she's going to be experiencing a few more mental edits courtesy of her (not so) good friend in the near future.

I'm in this comment and I don't like it.
I dont know how this is going to affect the friendshio games arc (question how long is until that happens? But im exited!
This might be the version of wallflwer i least like but i really hope that after the whole memory stone she guets a chanse to redem herself
Annnnd.. that story is back to that "RWBY season 3" feeling.
Clueless heroines and the ennemie getting stronger, step by step.
That stone is linked to wallflower canonically but i sure hope it's not as OP as in the damn movie because if not i can't foresee an happy ending.
like: option A: the stone is as OP and wallflower have a golden path to victorie
option B: cinch and her master sniff the stone and take it (possibly getting rid of wallflower)
option C: the stone is not as OP and there is a price to pay when using it.
My first question would be wondering how much did Twilight lose? Sure, Wallflower now knows Twi is a lesbian but I'm guessing Twilight doesn't remember saying it? And speaking of Wallie... is she related to Jay from Jay and Silent Bob? She goes for aaallll the derogatory and degrading labels. Just... wow. I aways knew that stone could be dangerous, but in the hands of the Wallflower you have crafted... It might as well be a nuclear weapon. And who just recklessly sticks their hand in a strange box in the ground?! Has she never watched a sci-fi horror thriller? Did she pick up the scroll? It reads like she left the scroll on the ground, but I guess she could have grabbed it when she stashed the stone.
I understand why you were excited for this chapter, I'm going to have to read it again.

...She's an arrogant teenager. What did you expect, lol?
11527722
Wow. I knew there was a lot of stuff around orchids and carnivorous plants, just like I know pharmaceuticals are a big deal, but wow. The levels of BS--no wonder you stayed away from that into a much chiller part of the field. I do not blame you in the slightest.

To be fair, it can be hard to let go of someone who has been your friend, even when the friendship turns toxic. Its even harder for a teen.

Her readings give her a big circle on the map. That doesn't tell her more than a "general area" because of the radius of the circle, however, long term readings over several months have shown those "big circles" getting measurably larger by feet or yards over like 3 or 4 months. At that point, its a matter of basic math to average out "about how much that is in a given time period" such as a day or week. Which, someone like Twilight is going to want to know. Or at least would calculate because she could.

I know, the Interlude Title wasn't that subtle. But I liked it, because its a phrase Wallflower has used on several occasions prior with Twilight.

1. *BW Megatron Voice* Yesssssss...
2. I'm not sorry.
11532466
That seems to be a pretty common consensus.
11532517
To each their own, but this is all just set-up, as I have noted. Character arcs here are long term things. Wallflower's is no different.
As for your guesses...well. We'll see.
11532543
*evil laughter*
*continues dumping stuff into the fan*
11532562
There's all kinds of things she could do with that damnable rock. We'll have to see what route she takes, what choices she makes.
As for Sunset's senses, you'll see there too.
11532567
Mmm. Its been shown in canon that the stone does not affect objects. Only people. So...photos. Texts. Recordings. Emails. Letters. Artwork...entire bedrooms... none of that would be affected.
11532626
I think a lot of readers were, lol.
11532701
As I pointed out before, this is all setup for stuff. Wallflower's arc is just getting started. She has a much longer, larger part to play later on.
11532888
Honestly, never seen RWBY because it just doesn't interest me at all, so I don't quite understand if this is a complaint or compliment. Either way, I would say its a lot more complex than you're distilling into about six words.
As for the stone...no, it is not as "OP" as the original canon. It has limitations, it has flaws, and it actually has its own, much more detailed origin story involving Clover the Clever and the "Sorceress" who made it that might, in fact, involve a HUGE reference to G1. There is also a learning curve to figure out how to use it right--Wallflower used it in this scene completely by accident.

Twilight pretty much remembers accidentally outing herself, then getting to the area by the school and turning to go off and get readings, and nothing else. She's forgotten finding the stones, digging up the area, and the whole bit with Wallflower blowing up on her. I thought that had been implied, but maybe it wasn't as clear as it could've been.
Wallflower is...no more cruel than a lot of middle and high school children. Nothing she's said is any worse, really, than I used to hear in high school. Except she uses the word "fuck" about 900% less.
Yes. The stone is dangerous. The very concept of it is awful--the ability to strip memories from people without their consent is a violation of the self. And in the hands of Wallflower--or anyone else with a less than stellar moral compass--such an object is exceedingly deadly.
I guess she figured if there was some kind of Mummys curse on the container, Twilight's the one that's been cursed by that weird purple light.
I hope reading it a second time is just as fun as the first! :P
Wallflower found the forget laser rock. This is uh... going to be very fucked up if Wallflower starts getting ideas. Which she absolutely will.
Oh so that's exactly what she's going to do, gotcha.
Well, wallflower is going all kinds of terrible directions with things right now.
Two words: Well... Shit.
Wallflower is a bitch, and a horrible human.
