This raises some very interesting possibilities. Some of which, if true, would be quite the nasty shock to Sunset. I'll refrain from speculating too freely, but this is very catching.
Thanks for the extra chapter, I'm glad this one will be followed up very shortly, as a full week of rampant speculation after this insight before we get to the next scene would have been quite hard to deal with.
Hmm, something funky's going on with Sunny's magic. Poor thing needs someone to talk to so badly. My guess is Rarity's going to be that confidant.
Also, Sunset going rage-icorn on those bullies was both sad and cathartic. From the way Sunset remembers it, I think Celestia could have handled the fallout better. Handling bullies is never an easy task, but blaming the victim when they defend themselves isn't the best way to handle it. Sunset using excessive force wasn't okay, but that's what a teacher should help her understand: how to not use excessive force when defending herself.

Feel free to speculate. I won't confirm or deny anything, so its all external rambling, lol. :} And yes. Things are going on, arent they? >:} And yeah, there's a series of three or four chapters that are closely interconnected, so going too long between their postings are...rough.

Yes, there is stuff going on with sunset's magic. Maybe talking to someone will help.
And yeah, Celestia...maybe didn't handle it the best. Though there may be extenuating circumstances to Celestia's actions.

Aye, Anon-A-Miss stories are almost universally terrible, and I dont like most of them. And while it seems harsh, but frankly, high school students can be horrible little monsters, especially with modern day internet culture coupled with mob mentality. I am glad you are enjoying the story though! :}

Okay, I will. Though I'll spoiler my speculation in case other people don't want their opinions influenced. Remember anyone else reading this, this is wild speculation for the heck of it.
In earlier chapters there were discussions about the various emotivores that exist, and how the three "known" ones can be at least loosely tied to three of the four elements of nature: water (Siren, anger/strife/competitiveness), air (Windigo, hate/violence), and earth (changeling love/joy). That leaves fire. What did Sunset recently spend time transifugred into? A creature of fire. What is the most common "female demon" in mythology? Succubi. What are they? Depending on the source material one could describe them as lust/passion emotivores. Violent tempers are also a passion thing.
Speculation: Sunset's magic is trying to reconcile her pony magic (which for Sunset was pretty fire heavy already) with her time as what is potentially a lust/passion emotivore. I'm not going to speculate as to how it's going to sort itself out except to state the fairly obvious fact that it won't be fun for Sunny while it's happening.
Okay fine, this was for wild speculation, maybe she'll end up as a kirin, lol.
I can completely relate to the pressure cooker finally blowing. I too use to have rage/control issues that were egged on by "kids being kids.". Such aggression outlets are necessary.
This story just keeps getting better. I am also very curious as to what is going to happen. Keep up the great work.

That, my friend, is a very fascinating theory.

Ah yes, the life of living with a Rage score.

I'm glad you're enjoying reading! :} Tune in friday for more, lol!
This is fascinating!
Also interesting to find out just what was what caused Sunset's panic attack.
This made me think on stories about Djinni/Efreet...

Bruhahah. So much speculation abounds!

I actually feel the comparison works well, but while I referenced the cheeseburger, I was more referring to the fact that the average modern day human does not spare much consideration for the cow that went into that cheeseburger. On a basic level, they know, yes, it was originally part of a cow, and most of them know what a cow looks like...but most dont dwell on it over much, and because we buy our meat from stores, already dead and cut up, there’s a level of disconnect from the whole “what I’m eating used to be alive” notion. Now, yes, a cow is a far cry from a person, but thats part of the comparison. Just like we dont consider food animals in the same category we consider humans (or even how we consider non-food companion animals) the Sirens dont consider humans (or Equestrian natives) in the same category as themselves.
I realize I’m rambling now, lol. Still glad youre enjoying the tale!
Darn. Caught up. Nothing to do but wait for updates, no more binge reading. Oh well.
