No, not in the slightest. The sad thing is that while we know what happened because we had the bird's eye view to everything that went down, Twigles doesn't, and can only get things from the two participant's PoV. Or half-truths in Wallflower's case. I do wonder how tainted by CPA Wallflower is, and if she get's a face full of Rainbow Beam™, it'd scrub the nasty out of her. Of it that really is her personality.
Questions, questions.
Oi... once again, the effect of CPA's toxicity shows it's ugly head.
Wallflower, would you please kindly... TALK. TO. LYRA! Seriously, if she had talked to Lyra recently, she would know Lyra's singing a different tune now regarding Sunset. She clearly hasn't spoken to Lyra since Sunset's reformation, or even better yet, since the Battle of the Bands (since those pesky Sirens didn't make things much better...)
Though to be honest, given that Wallflower is dead set on her view of Sunset, she might just accuse Lyra of the same thing: falling for Sunset's "games".
And once again, probably due to a mix of being an emotional teenager and CPA's toxic influence, Twilight thinks someone else is being irrational/illogical/unreasonable, instead of herself. Well that, and her underdeveloped social skills. Seriously, Twi needs real friends, TRUE friends! (And now I've got "True, True Friend" going in my head...)
I'm hating that toxic waste dump of a school encased in crystalline walls with every chapter. It's worse than a whitewashed tomb!
I know Twi is bad at these kinds of things, but this feels, too me, like her attacking Sunset.
Wallflower has already stated her opposition to this, and attacked Sunset's character to Twi, so why is Twi trying to force this on Sunset and not Wallflower?
Something to do with CPA and the magic around it, or had Twi been infected with a bit of classism herself without realizing it?
Hope Lyra can help, just hope Sunset thinks to ask, or Twi reaches out, but she seems to be about as bad as PriTwi about her.

Heck, or Twilight talks to Lyra and gets an outside opinion on the situation.
stupid lack of rainbows in the downward spiraling relationship.
Ahhhhh yes. The infamous 'he said, she said' game. The exceedingly difficult position of trying to play friend maker to the friend-of-a-friend crowd after rumors and hearsay have already gone rampant. Been there, done that. It doesn't end well, at least not that I've found. However, I feel, despite the self fulfilling prophesy of the situation, Sunset could at least offer to meet up again, try and see if Wallflower will call her on it. Twilight should tap one of her numerous sources for information, be it her brother's best friend Luna or Lyra directly on if Sunset has been 'playing her' as Wallflower has accused. Otherwise... there will be tears. Hot, angry, tears.
Man, just about everybody is ready to smack Wallflower with a rainbow, and she's not done anything except be a bitchy teenage girl so far. What are yall gonna do if she does something really heinous?

Questions with answers that will come in time....

Wallflower does have some issues, doesn't she?
As for Twilight... you're pretty much hitting the nail on the head there. Its a mix of all those factors--her social skills, some of her personality traits, and of course, the fact that she's a hormonal teenager going to a toxic school full of evil magic, all contributing to the mess she makes of things in this chapter.
Its never easy, is it? :P
*smirks* Whitewashed tomb, you say? Ha. As if a sidhe would actually take that much care about burying mortals. She's more the kind to offer you a nice glass of Amontillado. Are you thirsty, Fortunado?

As one of the other readers noticed, its a combination of factors leading to the behavior. Some mundane, like Twilight becoming fixated on "my two friends must become friends", or her lack of social awareness, and some....well....*jerks a thumb towards Cinch.*
The problem with Sunset asking Lyra is that Sunset doesn't really know who Twilight's old friend group was. She knows Wallflower's name, but Twilight (just like Princess Twilight), never really talks about the others all that much. Not because she doesn't care, but because she just...doesn't think about it. She doesn't see them, and Moondancer only sends letters by snail mail, so...out of sight, out of mind, when the absent-minded professor is working on a million projects or distracted by a great set of boobs.

Twilight does need another perspective, doesn't she?

*puts Pride stickers all over the story chapters* there. More rainbows.

Its not a great situation to be in, truthfully, at any age, but its worse when youre a teenager and things like that seem so world-alteringly huge and important.
