Time Turner is the owner of the small restaurant named Golden Hourglass but unlucky with his staff as they always cause a mess of the place.

Time Turner's staff are Octavia Melody who is second in command. Bon Bon whose the cook. The Head Waitress is Lyra Heartstrings and his waitresses are Vinyl and Derpy. They each are different which causes a lot of going on in the small restaurant! Of course they mean well and since they're like anyone else they also go through hardships or striving for something in their lives! But they will all work hard together and help each other out even for their beloved manager!

For over a thousand years, Discord was trapped in stone. Some think that he was forced to watch the centuries go by while being powerless. This, however, is false. While he was completely aware, he also had access to all of his powers- he just couldn't leave the statue. Back home from a weeklong trip, Time Turner finds Ponyville in the grip of the post Hearts and Hooves day “new love” phase. New relationships between couples have been forged, and anypony still unattached will be looking for their own special someponies.

It’s kind of annoying really. As soon as ponies see a relationship bloom they want to find somepony for themselves, and right now those ponies are searching for all the wrong reasons.

Time Turner doesn’t want to get involved, he’d rather relax for a while and recover from his latest “business” trip. The all-powerful force of love can go bother somepony else, thanks.

Love can be avoided, especially if you’re a literal time turner, but occasionally that’s not enough.

As a note: I'm reliably informed the first chapter starts off a little dull, and that generally the story really hits its stride in chapter two.

Four friends are meeting up to play a nice game of Ogres and Oubliettes, but they get more of an adventure than they were looking for!

They're pretty sure that being sucked into another world and having to fight for their lives is still all just a game, but if they ever want to go home, they're going to have to face their destiny.

Pinkie Pie clapped her hooves. "Oh silly-filly, we can say 'Dungeons and Dragons' we're both owned by Hasbro!" She was ignored.

"Dungeons and Dragons, I mean, Oubliettes and Ogres? Don't you know that's Nightmare Moon's game?" The Doctor gasped sticking his head through the window.

Princess Luna pushed him out of the way and stuck her in the window and shouted, "Just because we were mad with jealous and bruised ego, does NOT mean all our hobbies at the time were themselves evil!"

Twilight Sparkle blinked and uncurled an ancient scroll examining it closely. "At least that explains the ancient 'Slay the Tyrant Sun' campaign module from the ancient first editions I found in the Castle of the Two Sisters."

Luna blushed.

This is a group-story/addventure/chain-story/round robin, fanfic 'story' of the Mane Six Plus Spike playing Dungeons and Dragons/Oubliettes and Ogres, with occasional guest players (like Trixie or Gilda), with Spike and Twilight rotating as Dungeon Master. It's intended to be an IN-CHARACTER comedy.

However, except for the opening set-up post, each post should be more self contained, if say (in joke) Twilight is fire balled by a Mimic in one post in a desert pyramid, the next post can have them sailing a ship encountering seaponies siren expies, each one containing a short joke, or an extension of a previous scene if that's what the poster wants. Time skips, flash backs, the ponies rotating different characters and campaigns, are all allowed (and ENCOURAGED) as long as the ponies stay in character (such as Pinkie Pie NOT fireballing a cabbage sales stallion and saying she thought he was a demon, thank you very much).

There are prototype rules and may change with time.

It's also intended to be an INDEPENDENT UNIVERSE from the Pony POV Series OR the Pinkie Pie Variety Show! So things aren't esoteric.

Long ago, the War of the Magi reduced the World of Harmony to a scorched wasteland, and the powerful Magic of old ceased to exist. Even unicorns, the sole remaining wielders of conscious magic, were left with naught but the weakest of telekinetic power.
