Octavia, a successful mare with a great career, felt like something was missing in her life. Something that should be there wasn't. Seeing that empty chair... It had nothing and yet all of the answers. A physcial metaphor for the emptiness she was feeling inside, but was not facing.

"Everything scared me. The thunder, the twisted trees, and the darkness. The darkness was the worst. Everywhere I ran, it followed. No matter how fast or in what direction it was there....I cried out for my mother, but there was no response. Every cry was ignored, until she came."

While on her way back to Canterlot, Princess Celestia must stop in Ponyville for the night while a storm blows over. She finds a young colt crying for his mother in the Everfree Forest. He only remembers some basic spells and his age. She takes him back to Ponyville, only to learn that no one has even seen him before. The Princess takes him back to Canterlot and tries to find him a home, but something happens that changes all of that.

This is my first story so please be honest with me and help me become a better writer.

Artists suffer from many things, one of which is a mental block that disrupts and makes them second guess their work. For Octavia, she starts developing such music blocks that causes her to quickly fall into depression and turn to cigarettes and wine to ease her pain. Sometimes though, all it really takes is a friend to hear out ones problems. Thankfully, Octavia is fortunate to have such a friend and when her housemate, Vinyl checks up on her, she happily listens to Octavia's frustrations.

It could have been a normal evening for Twilight. Hanging out with her student, experimenting with magic, trying to fix the map... Thanks to Pinkie, it wasn't.
Now she was here in Manehattan, at night, and to keep the crazy, pink mare at hoof's length, she had no choice than to hunt after an obscure destiny that was supposed to change her life... Something she did not believe in the slightest.
That her life would get turned upside down by a random visit of Manehattan at night was just completely absurd, that's something Twilight was sure about...

Twilight, thanks to her new royalty, has been in Canterlot very often recently. In fact, for the past two months she hasn't been able to make the trip to Ponyville.

Though, she has wrote them all plenty, her friends all want to see her. With this thought, the five close friends head out to surprise the new princess.

However, they may very well end up to be the ones who get surprised.

After a fight with Octavia, Vinyl has to get her back, and she knows just how she's going to do that.

Vinyl has spent many a production behind the scenes, a lowly audio tech waiting in the wings. But she can't help but become awestruck by the beauty that is Black Rose Company's star actress, Octavia Philharmonica. After months of waiting, Vinyl finally gets a chance to befriend Octavia, and sets off on her ensuing quest to win her lady's heart.

All of these chapters are excitedly proofread by the wonderful and lovely jlm123hi, who is just such an excellent editor, and individual. I'm glad he's chosen to work with me.

While on their way to Manehattan for a new fashion show, Vinyl, Octavia, and Rarity realize just how mischievous magic can be. Now that they're all stuck in Vinyl's body, and in the little town of Trottingham no less, things can't possibly be worse. That is, until they are bitten by a peculiar, pony-like wolf. Now Rarity and Octavia must survive being Vinyl while also terrorizing anypony in the area. Well, there goes the idea of help... unless, of course, the Great and Powerful Trixie is feeling generous.

My roommate's name is Octavia, or "Tavi" for short. She likes vintage red wine, soft pillows, and long walks on the beach. But, more than anything, she loves music. She loves it with a passion that radiates with every burning color of the spectrum.

Each day I spend with her... or without her, I learn a little bit more about life, about the sick beat to which we all dance, whether we know it or not. I hope you don't mind if I say a few things about her. Just a few things. One can learn a lot from Tavi.

After all, she saved my life.
