Several weeks after recovering her crown from Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle discovers she can communicate with her counterpart from the other world, who has finally arrived at Canterlot High. When Celestia theorizes that the portal can be re-opened, Twilight and her friends--as well as the OTHER Twilight and HER friends--decide to trade places, so they can learn more about each others' worlds. The only catch: neither party can return to their own world for a full thirty moons...

This is Cassandra, my OC don't steal. Her interests include having a dark past, saving Twilight when the elements of harmony fail, and being Celestia's long-lost sister. What follows are the adventures, foibles, and shenanigans that the Mane 7 get into. These stories will touch you, spiritually and emotionally; they will make you laugh, make you cry, and hopefully make you love Cassandra as much as I do. I don't want to be too narrow, so even though I can't tag this as both "Adventure" and "Slice of Life" I'm going to try my hand at both of them.

You're probably wondering how I came up with the name "Cassandra." Because while it is a beautiful name on its own, the meaning is deeper. Greek mythology tells of Cassandra, daughter of Priam, who is cursed to see the future, but never have anyone believe her. Consequentially, a "Cassandra" is one who says things that are true, but is largely ignored, either because these truths sound ridiculous, or are too painful to hear. While my Cassandra can't literally see the future (because where's the fun in that?), she still tends to be more perceptive than the others. However due to jealousy or inclination of mistrust, other ponies often disbelieve her. That is why her Element of Harmony is Trust; to represent that she has to learn to put trust in less-intelligent, less-reliable ponies, and that other ponies have to realize they should trust her.

Tonight, on a very special episode of My Little Pony…

Spike may have finally found someone who can reveal the identity of his parents. But when that someone is Discord, has our little dragon bitten off more than he can chew?

~-Spike jumped up from the couch in excitement. "Then you've actually met them!?"

Somehow, Discord's grin managed to stretch even wider. "Ohhhhhh yes. In fact, I've known your father since the day we were born! And your mother… well let's just say she and I are intimately acquainted…"-~

Cadance? Sigh. I should have seen this coming. I shouldn’t have fallen in love with a mare I shouldn’t have. I shouldn’t have become best friends with the mare I loved. And now, I can’t do anything but watch her get whisked away by my other best friend.

Even within your best of friends, there are things that you do not know about. Things that may hold truth as to why Shining Armor can dance even though he knows he can't. Changelings? Perhaps.

The male changeling Vinyl Scratch studies in Canterlot High. Unorthodox may it be to leave the hive, but granted permission from the queen, he studies there and befriends Shining Armor and Cadance.

However close he may be to them, he lives a life of lies. Can s/he withstand the pressure it is to do it? To live a double identity- a pony on the outside, a changeling within? He's Vinyl Scratch- the changeling within.

They’d become heroes; Equestria’s protectors, but the girls have always had bigger plans for the kingdom. Now the wedding of Shining Armor draws near, everything is about to come out into the open. Of course, there will always be those whom resist.

Twilight finds a filly Earth Pony hidden in her basement, reading magic tomes and eating her sandwiches. The little one claims her special talent is related to magic and that pony society had no place for one such as her.

Twilight is awestruck by the claim. Is pony society not welcoming of the differences?

(2nd Person POV) Your childhood started out just like any other. You had friends, you attended school, you had a mother and father. It was all taken away from you. You have no recollection of your childhood, only the scene of a traumatic event. Losing all hope in recovering, you leave to a small, secluded town known as Ponyville, hoping to isolate yourself. You'll find out that all you needed was a little color to revive those memories.

When Discord hears that his botanical creation, poison joke, continues to flourish in the Everfree, he simply cannot resist a good prank. Poison joke in hand, he storms Canterlot Castle.

Needless to say, the princesses are not impressed. But then, neither is Discord, since the joke also has an unexpected effect on him. And none of them know the cure.
