After the Fall Formal I thought that I had lost everything. The crown, my one chance to return to Equestria. Turns out that I was wrong. I have gained so much. Some of it I didn't even know that I was searching for. My name is Sunset Shimmer, and this is my story.

Author's notes: I've been working on this story for over a year. I'll admit it contains a lot of elements that appear commonly in other Sunset stories -- this is just my take on it. I'll try to give credit where credit is due -- although nearly every idea in this story occurred to me independently, others have actually published stories using many of them first.

The thrust of the story is to take material written for ages say 10-13 (i.e. the EQG movies/shorts/specials) and age it up to make it more dramatic and meaningful. Probably my favorite thing to write was the conversations that must have taken place, both in the human world and in Equestria, but that aren't depicted in any movie or book.

Full Disclosure: Sunset's friends play their usual crucial roles in her redemption and growth, but this is a Momlestia/Lunauntia story too. And there is no shipping. Romance isn't Sunset's priority as she crawls out of the darkness of her former life. Yet.

I had to add the AU tag after Forgotten Friendship came out. Up until then, this story was fairly canon-compatible. Now, it diverges a bit.

Rainbow Dash thinks it would be absolutely hilarious to prank Princess Twilight Sparkle by putting fart powder in her tea. Soon after, Princess Celestia arrives to hang out with Twilight. Can she hold it in? And how will Celestia react if she can't?

While in the human world, Sunset Shimmer is farting non-stop after having a big bowl of beans for lunch. While she is alone trying to deal with this and avoid further humiliation, three familiar faces attempt their revenge...

Contains: Fart (obviously), and Chapter 2 has a brief scene of facesitting. If you don't like this stuff, turn back and read a different story. If you find it funny or have a fetish for it, read away!

I did this by request. Considering how unpopular my stories are, I have to appreciate someone who likes them enough to make a request of me. Don't take it too seriously - quality probably won't be too high and some of the scenarios might be stretchy or OoC, but that's just how I write. This will also be my first story not containing watersports in any form.

Princess Celestia went out for a stroll to a coffee shop. The next morning, she is single-hoofedly destroying the coffee industry.

Nick has lived with the royal sisters since he appeared in Equestria with no way home three years ago. In that time he made friends and gained the trust and respect of most, if not all of Canterlot Castle. He even has access to the treasury and minor command over some staff, but only for one reason: pranks.

Nick is one of the few souls capable of matching Celestia and Luna in pranks, and has been semi-willingly inducted into their endless prank war. These are some of their memorable moments.

This story is a sequel to You Will Never Be Alone

After the Fall Formal, Sunset found the one thing she always wanted. A family. She got a loving mother, a great aunt, a sweet little sister, and the kindest soul in the world, who is her girlfriend. But her journey is not over yet. Let's see, where her destiny will bring her while finding out some secrets of the elements of harmony, that no one knew before.

In the town of Canterlot, on a very stormy day, Sisters Celestia and Luna are trying to get home to escape from the storm, that was until Celestia heard the sound of a baby crying in the distance. The sisters came to see what it was and it was in fact a little infant, who was drenched from the rain and crying uncontrollably. Celestia's maternal instincts kicked in and they brought the little child into their home. Since Celestia saw that the infant was inside of a cardboard box, meaning the child's parents must have left her there, the two sisters decided to raise the child as their own, and after the storm ends, and they see the suns rays, they name the child Sunset Shimmer after the shimmering rays of the sunset. Since then, they have been raising a very friendly and energetic little girl. Now come, and listen to the journey of the human world Sunset, from childhood to adolescence to her college years, to her adulthood. It's going to be a wild ride.

I have changed it's rating to T because in future chapters there's going to be a lot of curse words and a little violence, but not a lot.
