I knew I was missing somepony! Fiddah, how goes control of those typos?
p.s. Love magic from Cadence seems to have had a semi positive result.
6541802 I'l get right on those! Thanks. On my way to maybe upgrade my phone.
I must say this chapter really turned the story around for me I am looking at Silver in a new light.
I will say I faltered in my trust of David's ability to right a exultant story.
Thanks you David for reinstalling my trust in you sir.

a few things happened to day that swayed me. I watch my 81 year old mother cry for 10 min over the cmc getting there marks and the song that DT sang the words.
but the story I thing it is the fact that Silver is trying so hard he is hurting him self cadence working with him the way things are worded this chapter is just so good.
I took time to really read this chapter and really understand what is going on, the pane Silver is in and just thinking whet would I do if this was me.
For some reason we have been reminded of the practice of leeching, where leeches are used to draw blood into severely damaged tissue. This of course being in conjunction with the idea that a changeling might be useful at this point.
Keep going! ;)
Don't capitalize the "i" in "it'll."
Her "mind-altering" magic.
6546900 Fixed! And eager to hear what you think of this one.
6546997 So Cadance makes her first attempt to fix the problem with Silver, and the results are...mixed, at best.
I have mixed feelings with regards to Cadance's depiction here. To a degree, it's to be expected that she'd deviate from what's in the source material - Celestia certainly did, after all - but I couldn't help but notice the difference, and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Cadance, as the Princess of Love, strikes me as a pony that probably has a very liberal attitude towards loving relationships, but is in a relationship that (rather ironically) is rather traditional, being a monogamous relationship with a stallion. This isn't paradoxical on her part - she seems like she'd approve of any relationship that was made up of healthy, loving adults regardless of the particulars regarding the sexes or number of participants involved. It's just that for her, the most fulfilling relationship she found is one that happens to be stereotypical with regard to what relationships are presumed to look like.
I bring this up because I see Cadance's commitment to love as being near-absolute, which means that for her, stepping out on her husband (especially now that she's expecting) seems exceptionally out-of-character for her. I can see her committing to the "circle of princesses" idea out of politics - stronger relations with Equestria is good for the Crystal Empire - but beyond that I don't see her being willing to engage in anything that could be considered romantic intimacy with anypony that isn't Shining Armor, regardless of how minor it is or for what reasons. Obviously, what she's supposed to be doing here is more therapeutic than anything else (e.g. Cadance as Silver's sex-therapist), but the entire scene would have been better presented if she'd been trying to stimulate the bonds between Silver and, for instance, Night Watch. The fact that Silver has had rough spots with all of her wives is less important, I think, than the fact that she has a deeper bond of love with them than she does with Cadance.
The long and short of it is, I don't see Cadance as a character that would play "kissy face" with anyone except Shining Armor, so her scene came across as somewhat awkward to me. Everything else worked, and leaving aside that aspect of it her presentation here was entirely believable, especially when she made sure to stop things from going any further; I just don't think she'd have gone even that far.
I'm also slightly chagrined to admit that I had forgotten about Fiddah also. It's far past time for her to be brought out of the bullpen, given that a time of confusion (especially with regard to her master) is where she's supposed to shine. I see her really stepping up to try and soothe the disharmony that's been brought about by Silver's return and current "disability" (very smooth of her to phrase it that way). I also liked that she took Silver to task regarding how she treated Shei - that's Fiddah at her best, reminding Silver that not every pony wants what Silver thinks that they want, and to temper her expectations accordingly. (As a note, when Fiddah said she was Silver's servant, Silver's reply about it being illegal to own ponies in Equestria was a bit awkward - slaves are owned, servants are employees.)

This...I can't do it anymore.
I think this story was new when I first started reading your stories. Didn't have an account then. I remembered that the last thing in the fic was Silver naming some foals, and the fic being completed.
I had enjoyed the stories, and so I came back to them. They have a little value in the second reading, and since I knew what what happen at least in part, I wasn't as bothered as perhaps I should have been.
Then I caught up to where it had left off, and it was bland. You skipped over Alia like it was nothing, even though a large part of her accepting Silver was him saying"I will see you dead and buried." Except he didn't. We don't know if they bought an inn to bury her under, she is in a royal crypt, a nameless grave, anything. Disappointing, but only an example in hindsight.
Then you kill him off. Suddenly. Arbitrarily. Tried to handwave it by a malfunctioning computer, when you simply wrote yourself into a corner. NO civilaztion would EVER make identification jewelry that bound itself to the body the first time it was worn, AND REUSABLE! Night Watch trying to convince the computer she was the new captain was laudable, but if these bangles were so damn important, and they couldn't be given that they are permanent, the fact that she had less than Silver should have been a red flag, and the computer would ask for confirmation.
I really should have dropped it there, like other, but I saw more chapters and thought, "Should be some good reactions, maybe it will carry on from his kids or something." HAHA NOPE. Most were fine. Celestia's and Luna's were not. At all. Celestia. Admits. To. Being. A . Mass. Murderer. Luna. Is. OK. With. This. There really is no other way to interpret this. Ordinarily, I am extremely prochoice, so I wouldn't classify her forced abortions as such, but this is Celestia. SHE CHOPPED SILVERS BALLS OFF FOR MANSLAUGHTER. TO hear, to see Celestia, as prolife as they come, to admit to fetal murder simply because she didn't like the father.....And Luna is ok with this. There is no censure. No statements of "This is Unforgivable!" No threats of retaliation just...nothing.
The real unforgivable sin though? The one that woke me up, made me realize that this is nothing more than self mastrabutory wristcutting....fuck I can't even describe? Celestia. Brings. Silver. Back. Big part of Alia's death was Celestia admitting that there were plenty of ponies she would LOVE to bring back, but she couldn't. Until Silver. Somehow he's super special.
It turned me off forever.
7120721 You have clearly had enough of this nightmare. Awaken. The world continues in your slumber.
7120721 I'm being entirely serious, mind you. Wake up!
ZOMG! It's worse than I thought! Being reborn took away Silver's tickled-nose sneezes! Cadence, Celestia, Luna... we need to refocus, because Silver was adorable before he was horny, so this break goes deeper than we thought.
Fix the adorable, and the rest will fall into place. Bring back the sneezes!
I think Fiddah would be the one to bring Fast Change back.
