ooooo I like where this is going. :)
I shall keep observing, you have regained my attention, though you should probably switch the story from complete to incomplete if you're still adding additional chapters.
I thought it ended to quickly.
Looking forward for more of your work.
Author's Note:
Maybe its a typo if she means to defile destiny =p
We still argue that the ship should not have behaved like that, even heavily corrupted as it were. On well, let's see where Celestia is going!
6514478 There was precious little of its action that I ever used 'lol, it's broken'. The only truly broken thing it did was grant Night Watch captain rank. After that? Just following the protocol.
Capitalize the first "T" in "tartarus."
Also, I'd change "fix" to "affix."
6515148 Fixed, or is that affixed? (joke)
6515158 Reading this chapter left me somewhat glazed and confused (as I'm sure Pinkie Pie would say).
So the reason that Silver's progeny kept spontaneously miscarrying wasn't because of any sort of "natural" causes, but because Celestia poisoned him somehow? And this was the result of several schemes on her part to keep him from making children? Okay...I suppose I can understand that; this story's Celestia has been shown to be manipulative when she thinks she's in the right, but I'm not entirely sure I understand her motivations for doing this in the first place.
As Celestia says, she had apparently been trying to sabotage Luna's "breed more lunar ponies" scheme for a while now. That I find eminently plausible, simply because it could shift the balance of power in Equestria, at least on a social level. But Celestia's reason for doing so is presented here as her wanting to drive a wedge between Silver and Luna (presumably for his own sake...?), and that's where things stop making sense to me. Silver had a very notable breakup from Luna, right after Celestia forcibly feminized him and Silver and Night Watch fled to the Crystal Empire as a result. If Celestia's goal was to keep their relationship distant, then she'd essentially won at that point...so why keep sabotaging his fertility, which we know she did, since he couldn't sire children as an alicorn?
Of course, this also means that Nefertari and Pinkie Pie are almost certainly pregnant, and likely to carry the children to term.
That said, the larger repercussions of this chapter are more notable, in that the alicorn sisters are also going to refuse to accept this, which I find heartening. Whereas the last chapter seemed like the real ending to the story, now it seems like there's more to come. Maybe Silver will finally get his rainbow?
6515001 then perhaps the real WTF was with Silver. I was almost expecting him to be the one assuming control...
hum I will have to say no comment and just see how this play's out.
6515192 That was Night Watch's initiative.
6515472 indeed, a spur of genius that backfired horribly.
