Really? The title is that of a two bit romance novel of the harlequin variety. Damnit twilight
Any chance he's in Everglow?
6545715 The idea tickles me fiercely, but Silver is literally the creator of that world. How would Twilight have a book of it?
Should be: close by
6546098 I went with a whole other word.
I know that Twilight is trying to help with Silvers problem but why a romance novel? This is where he is having most of his problems. is this the best way for him to learn the romantic passion that Twilight and the others so badly need and wanted and Is he in potential danger in the book story?
I think that he is missing one of the keys to his personality. Fast Change! He may need her to open up the passion that he is missing. When she became the changeling queen and he had loss her, he committed suicide. Now this is just my thoughts. Is she the Key?
I like to know why Starlight let Silvers cutie mark go? No one was there to stop her. Twilight did not know that she was in town. It seems that Starlight is in love with silver, did she change her mind about stilling her cutie mark?
Dragonfox
6545743 INCEPTION!!!
6545743 Rough Draft?
6546492 That would be Humanway! A thrilling story, to be sure, but less unicorns.
David Silver I think I now know way I am or was stumped with the new Silver. you are really delving in to Silver as a pony now. her mind so to speak I am liking it good work.
Harts Fire
6546502 But Ponyfinder is an expansion based on a game with Human Characters. So isn't Humanway an expansion based on a game with PONY characters? Aka, wouldn't it be backwords, with Ponyfinder being the normal game and the normal game being the expansion humanway?
And we know Shining Armor is a bit of a nerd... So Twilight would know about that game, since she probably seen, or even played, it with Shining.
So it's not really far out there to have him in Everglow with that spell one day :P
6547118 Fine fine, twist my leg! We'll see what can be done.
6547129 Hey, I'm just pointing out it COULD happen. I never said it HAD to happen. You're the one that Made Rough Draft be basically a clone of Silver's human life, just with Humans and Ponies switched, so it's possible for Ponies to already have Everglow as the default game :P
Starlight cameo alert! Seems she's been practicing.... She keeps toying with her things, first the heart crystal, now his Mark, what's next?
Keep going! ;)
It really feels like this sentence should end with a question mark and an exclamation point both.
Don't capitalize the "t" in "two," or the "s" in "second."
6549783 Roger, taking off on a plane atm.
6549789 Okay, well, this was an odd twist. Starlight shows up, tries to seduce Silver, takes her cutie mark while vowing revenge on Twilight (apparently saying that it's for Silver's sake), and then gives it back? Huh?
The obvious mystery here is why Starlight apparently returned Silver's cutie mark after stealing it, something heightened by how that apparently happened off-screen. Clearly something went down to cause that to happen, but there's no way of telling what. Did Starlight have some sort of change of heart? Or did something happen to force her to give back Silver's cutie mark? Less obvious is the mystery of why Starlight was there in the first place. She seemed to know about Silver's recent resurrection, and so that's the most obvious guess for what brought her there, but it's still an odd thought to consider.
It's also at this point that the issue of Silver's memories can no longer be ignored. While she seems to think that it's an issue with short-term memories, that's clearly not the case - she met Starlight several months ago, in the story's timeline, before leaving for Anugypt. In fact, she seems to have lost memories relating to her absent sexuality; she not only can't feel arousal, she can't remember situations where she felt aroused. That means that anyone she met during those situations is similarly absent from her memories, hence why Starlight (who was always either promising sex to Silver or having it with her) was forgotten so completely.
Also, I feel the sudden urge to blame Celestia for this. She admitted to interfering with Silver's fertility, for reasons that still don't make much sense to me. That shortsightedness is coming back to bite her now, since Starlight - and at least several other mares who wanted a foal and by all rights should have one - has been utterly devastated to have had an induced miscarriage. It's only at this point that I wonder about just how much pain Celestia's ill-considered scheme has caused...and may still cause. Someone needs to take her to task for that, pronto.
In the meantime, Silver has been brought into a book, and it honestly seems more like one of Spike's magical comic books than how that spell was actually displayed in the show. Given that the events in these books don't seem to have any impact on the real world, this will hopefully be a short diversion.
6549789 No worries. Have a safe flight!
6549783 Fixed!
Well, I think I've figured out this little plot twist. That was clever, too bad she screwed up though. Anyway, I'll keep reading and find out if I'm right on what I assume has happened. I may not know exactly what happened but I think I know enough to try and keep the spoilers off this page.
Edit: Or on second thought maybe she just never mentioned to Twilight that she never mastered the unicorn alphabet. Although that does seem like something Twilight would have known or found out about...
6590922 Silver never did get the alphabet down and eventually skipped ahead to learning and casting spells directly out of a book.
It killed him, literally. He learns from his mistakes.
