Nice start of a new tale to be told, at least I'm thinking.
hides the typos away >.> you shall not see them till you pay the ransom!
...
or until its too late <.<
this chapter is vary interesting is Silver really ok or walking to his death agene?
did he or will he make a friend with Nefertari or is she just wanting a good rutting to see how good prince Silver really is?
to many questions only time will tell.
6244718 And the randsom is sex! Lots of hot horny sex! Especially anal sex!

Given what story this is, the sex feels like a given ;) Though he never did lie with the pharoah, so maybe not.
He isn't walking willingly to death, however, merely risking it. The difference is he can and will try to avoid it. One would think successfully, but he has died once, and may yet die permanently. I can’t put it past David entirely.
That's weird. I'm not sure, but we think I found this... Hot? At least, one of me unexpectedly dropped... Hmmmm.....
I like how he's lowered their guard so easily. It seems they can detect deceit (or lack thereof)? Interesting interesting....
Keep going! ;)
Shouldn't that be "cut off your head" instead?
Perhaps ironically, there's no reason to have a hyphen with "partially concealed" in this sentence.

6250857 Okay, so Silver is putting his plan into action. So far, all seems well, but I wonder if he's taking the right approach.
It should be remembered that Silver is on a fact-finding mission, rather than trying to outright reform anything. So in that regard, he's completing his mission so long as he simply keeps his eyes and ears open; how well he relates to the Anubians is of secondary importance. Hence, one could make a compelling case that it's not very important that he doesn't seem interested in making them respect him.
And make no mistake, he's not winning their respect. While they do seem to realize that he's not particularly afraid of them, he's also not standing up for himself or otherwise acting like he has any dignity at all. Given the martial nature of their race, I have to question whether or not being submissive will win him much in the way of influence. As it is, I'm amazed that Nefertari didn't demand to ride on him - the way a human would ride a horse - to make him demonstrate his submission to her. At this point, he's all but said "please slip a collar around my neck, mistress."
Also, why do the Anubians have horn blockers? Saddle Arabians aren't unicorns, and Equestria is an ocean away. That seems like a relatively specialized device to have for an enemy that's not going to be around very often.
That said, it was interesting that Nefertari is some sort of shamaness. I'd play up the similarities between this and how Zecora practices magic, since the geographic closeness - and the fact that we've already been told that Zecora speaks to spirits - makes this a natural comparison. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that Silver will be able to interact with them with his own magic (or at least, not initially, since alicorn magic does seem to be fairly myriad in what it can do, especially with those artifacts boosting him). Likewise, it doesn't mean that the spirits are going to be friendly, forthcoming, or even understandable either.
Of course, that all comes after Silver has to deal with whatever Nefertari wants with him in her tent. Is Silver about to get to experience some fun with a humanoid female, rather than a mare (or a cat) for a change?
6250908 Oh, not yet. He has some work to do, alas. As you astutely mention, he's not earning their respect, and that's a very important part. To his credit, he's also not gotten himself killed. He's succeeded at approaching as not a preacher claiming to know what's best for them, or much of a spy. He's a captive, a curious captive, but a captive.
