Please stop. This is not a pleasant thing to read...
6639789 I thought some rather important information was disclosed in this chapter, and Silver wasn't actually harmed, just scared.
Is it that bad?
I just have more questions and no answers from this chapter. This whole situation is quite strange.
6639800 You did stray a bit from pony stuff and into existential and moral mumbo jumbo, it kinda fails to mesh properly and all the hate and prosecution feels a bit fake.
6639865 ... Existential and moral mumbo jumbo?
You just described half of the entire series...
6639889 Yeah, but it had actual ponies, it is a bit hard to takes some supposed villain seriously, when they pop out just like that, without even minimal infodump and start screaming repeeeeeent.
They just need sleazy moustache to finish the picture.
6639950 Cool. Where was that pony this chapter?
Who are you actually talking about?
ok now this is starting to get scary.
This isn't strange at all to me... in fact this is quite interesting actually. Can't wait to see what happens next.
6639789 Well this is M-rated for a reason so... let him continue.
6639865 If the reason why he is being targeted by these ponies seem fake to you then perhaps you should re-read the whole series again. I always thought that with all of Silver's misadventures and whatnot he would've gained hostiles such as these.
Just think about it, what if these ponies laid dormant for awhile - quietly gathering followers - watching him go about his life in his own way.
What he does and his personality is not that of pony behavior. Multiple wives - a Thestral, a Sex-addicted changeling-like unicorn and multiple princesses. Definitely not "normal" behavior for ponies.
Also, you saw how Ponyville reacted to the unknown (Zecora's episode) theyre quick to hide and/or fight the unknown despite the unknown showing no hostile behavior. I wasn't surprised that Silver eventually met this kind of opposition. I even predicted and suggested it in one of David's blogs.
The one asking us whether he should continue the story after Silver returned from traveling with Celestia.
It's just normal for ponies to judge things from a glance - just like Humans... though less violently. This is however an exception since it seemed to be boiling over a long period of time.

I personally don't buy them as -just- Silver-haters. Nothing Silver's done except the carnage in the east (which was technically Celestia's doing, though Silver has his share of blame) would even remotely warrant this large a group of ponies willing to go to such extremes. And why are they punishing that mare ("Don't rape me!")? That isn't obviously Silver-related.
I'm guessing they have a broader anti-human sentiment that has been built up by other humans and not just Silver, perhaps for quite some time. Even ignoring Outer Silververse works such as my own, we know humans have been coming to Equestria for a very long time, without much public knowledge, such as Celestia, Luna, and at least some of the Anubians' ancestors.
Samantha.... somehow I just knew there was a former human involved in this some-where. It might be interesting to know if the rest of the cult are even aware of that. Dark, squishy, forboding..... Do I even have to say I love it?
Just a thought, but it seems like there are two sides to this cult (Ima call it a cult, though that might or might not be entirely accurate). There's the rank and file xenophobic moralist who seem to do most of the actual dirty work and seem to believe their mission is to somehow punish Silver for his/her sinful ways, and then there are the higher ups (who apparently include at least one former human) who's goals seem more to draw out Silver's.... lets say, "less than Lawful-Good personality traits", and are manipulating the moralists into goading Silver on. As I said, just a thought, and I know you better than t think you will either confirm or denie anything (I honestly think, at this point, that you actively hide the spoilers from yourself). Samantha doesn't seem to want to hurt Silver so much as guage his reactions. Faust help them all if they've actually hurt Silver's foal. As I've pointed out, Silver is the kind of monster who would do ANYTHING to protect his family.
Well, that's a long, and exceptionally well thought out post (for me, anyway). I must now away to drink beers and prepare to walk to trains, and run ware-houses. And draw psychotic anthro-Pinkamena while people on the train give me funny looks and change seats. Because that's my favorite part of my commute. Or, really, the only part that doesn't make me want to just step in front of the train.
How the balls did they get the gender bender spell? The level of resourcefulness apparent belies the apparent existence of disparity in the organization.
It almost seems that Samantha isn't properly informed, but then she indicates she knows what's going on. From what little physiatrics we've been able to build on her, there should be no reason why she's not more forthcoming (she's certainly not shy for talking), yet she intentionally chose to be opaque as if it's amusing or something.
I an curious what else besides blood was extracted, it almost sounds like a biopsy?
So their treachery does indeed expand outside of Silver. Just how corrupt is Equestrian for not noticing any of this? (Sorry for the assumption, but we still have no evidence their activities were known prior to the last few days)
Keep going! ;)

It's been explicitly pointed out a few times that in Silververse most ponies are actually quite prone to not noticing things, especially details. Humans can certainly have this problem too, but ponies generally are kinda like humans but with certain traits suppressed/removed and others exaggerated, and for Silververse especially that trait is on the exaggerated list. (I'm sure someone with more pony knowledge than me could think of examples from the show that this was inspired by.)
Night Watch is a major exception, but that's her special talent and all cutie-marked ponies have exceptional capabilities within the realm of their cutie mark. Celestia and Luna are also exceptions, but they're former humans in Silververse so that doesn't mean as much.
without incedent - without incident
6644734 Fixed!
A "moderately-sized" stallion.
The "flashlight-wielding" pony.
A long "pointy-looking" device.
I'm honestly not sure what I can say at this point that I haven't said already. I think the story is doing an excellent job of making these villains a "love to hate" group, in that I find them loathsome in the extreme. Their insistence on dehumanizing - or rather, deponyizing - Silver, and even other ponies (that aren't related to Silver, if that poor mare is any indication) is monstrous, particularly against the backdrop of Equestria as such an idyllic society. The addition of a sociopathic scientist only increases this particular characterization of them.
Samantha, at least, does hint at this group having some sort of preexisting presence; I'm honestly starting to wonder if this group formed in response to prior human incursions into Equestria (probably by way of the Text), and have had experiences with humans who adapted far less well than Silver did. If so, that makes their actions slightly more understandable, albeit no less excusable. At this point, each and every one of these lunatics needs to be dealt with, quickly and severely, for everypony's sake.

First; did I miss something, or did the second guard try and have that other mare-turned-stallion try to impregnate Silver-as-a-stallion? What kind of self-defeating stupidity are these guards working with?
Second; you're doing it wrong Miss Vivisection. You use a paralytic (but not an anesthetic or a sedative) if you want to be exceptionally cruel, like you seem to want to be. Trust me, I've seen a similar scene in a different story: operating table, mechanical surgical suite, paralyzed but aware subject so the full and unhindered mental responses can be measured throughout the process... *shudder*
I'm also so glad I've never read a scene where such a thing follows through to the end.
Third; do these "ponies" not realise who Silver is friends with? I'm guessing not. Nobody expects the Discordish
Inqui-Intervention!Not sure to put “onto” or “on to.”

You made me read some old horse words, nice.
