Or, as it's known to the internet, a "furry".
Hmm, furry powers activate.

Kiki no ninja my thoughts please.
this a good chapter at lest Silver can still be his now true form.
So, highly tribal, bandit-style.... Let's see, how did we convert the nomads into the next phase of civilization?
I don't think Luna's magic is being undone, at least no more than when the artifacts got stuck on him. Modified, yes, but not undone.
Keep going! ;)
6264378 Silver clearly still has his Silver Stars form, and is quite comfy in it.

Does anyone else find the Anubians kind of a weird class of there own? Silver what have you gotten into? Good chapter and not really surprised by luna's reaction.
Try "thinking" of peaceful things.
There should be a quotation mark at the end of this sentence.
This chapter left me scratching my head. Not because anything here was confusing in-and-of itself, but rather because it wasn't properly elucidating exactly why Silver has become so accepted. Clearly, it's because he's a "true warrior" among them, but how exactly has that status been conferred upon him in their eyes? Was it because of his winning the fight with Nefertari (and presumably knocking her up)? Or was it because he can shapeshift into a humanoid form?
This is kind of an important distinction, because it sets the tone for exactly how uncommon an occurrence this is, which is important to underline exactly what it means for Silver having been accepted. Simply put, it's hard for me to imagine the Anubians being so egalitarian as to accept a pony into their tribe very easily. I get the idea that they have rules by which one advances in their society, but in order to make use of them, one has to be accepted as part of that society to begin with...and I'd have bet money that they wouldn't extend that status to either cats or ponies; not when they've spent countless generations warring and raiding both of them.
Simply put, playing by their rules doesn't mean anything if they won't let you join the game in the first place.
That's why it's important to understand exactly why Silver is suddenly "one of them" to begin with. If it's just because he defeated their leader, then this can't be something completely unknown; surely some pony (or cat) has fought hard enough to win their respect before? But if that's the case, then it creates a bit of a narrative problem, since the message up until now is that no understanding, or peace, was possible with the Anubians. If, on the other hand, they required shapeshifting into a "war form" to be seen as worthy of respect, then that's different.
Even then though, I'm still shocked that they're accepting Silver so easily. He might be able to do something that's unique to them, but one challenger aside, the idea of him being so readily embraced - instead of viewed as some sort of freakish anomaly - feels unexpected. He's still a pony, after all, even if he can change himself to look like them (and fuck their leader). Maybe this tribe is unusually egalitarian? Even so, this seems a little too convenient. At the very least, we need to be told what the societal impact of having a "war form" is.
Beyond that, it was interesting that Silver can leave notes in dreams when the dreamers are awake. That doesn't seem narratively intuitive to me; dreams shouldn't exist when the person isn't sleeping, so you can't just leave a message (though I suppose it's been done before, via Silver's "email" to Fast Change). Likewise, there wasn't really enough made of Luna's fretting for me to understand exactly what she's so upset about. She seems to have attached some sort of dire consequence to Silver's being able to shapeshift...perhaps she thought the change was permanent? If so, we already know that's not the case, but I'm not entirely clear that's what she was worried over.
Either way, Silver has an in with the tribe now. Let's see what he does with it...

6285756 I'm a bit perplexed. Why are you assuming Luna should be omniscient? Silver was fucked with, and she's worried what consequences there are, and she should be. The fact that she wasn't when she had the artifact slipped on was more of a failing than her giving a damn now. It's a positive change. Is silver permanently disfigured? Not that we have seen, but something did happen. That 'warrior' spirit is a thing, a poorly understood thing.
Leaving a message on someone's dream desk is not something always possible. Celestia has a very solid dream that doesn't mutate much and remains a part of the landscape, which is why he could gain access to it and leave that note. Most others fade from the dreamworld when awake.
Sending dream-email would still work, in theory.
6285784 I wasn't assuming she was omniscient. I was saying that I didn't understand the nature of her worry, since it seemed fairly specific (e.g. "I felt my magic being undone"...okay, what does that signify, in her mind?).
6285800 She had no idea. Neither does the reader, or anyone, except maybe me. She can't say what she doesn't know.

Another late to the party post but I like what in reading bar the anubians are my fetish. Silver isn't rolling ICER and taking it as it was and standing up for himself, no longer faulting to taking in every damaged goods of a female he finds, while still doing the right thing and helping, but not to a point he just keeps adding more females to his Hurd. Not that I don't want to see every female Nubian get banged by silver buuut a guy cab dream. Keep up the good work look forward to reading on
