Typos fear you. That's why they try so hard to tear you down.
And so ends the epic which covered at least 3 separate story arcs in 150 chapters.
One point I'm still not clear on though - Who did Silver travel with to Anugypt and Saddle Arabia? What is Faux Celestia's role in the daily operations of Equestria?
Ok, that was two points. Sorry.
Still this is a fine place to let things come to a rest, and if you should find another idea hiding amongst the typos that inspires another turn of the wheel, you'll hear no complaints from me.
Thank you for an awesome ride!
-Edited to stamp out a stray typo.
6677998 Strangely, I hadn't considered this being a resting point, even if it could, on reflection, be a perfectly fine one.
What did you think of how Starlight's cutie mark theft came around to match up perfectly?
6678027
It made sense in retrospect. One of those things that I sort of set aside as I was much more worried about Silver and their foal, since there was no immediate explanation as to why it happened. Chekhov's cutie mark theft, indeed.
So, this isn't the end? I just sort of made that leap when you used "finale" in the end of chapter commentary. Makes me happy to know that the saga continues after all!
-edited to terminate yet another typo.
6678044 Oh, this was before the foalnapping. This was back when Silver was asexual. She ran into Starlight one evening. Starlight professed to still be pissed with Twilight. Silver asked her to let it go, Starlight refused, then yanked Silver's cutie mark off and ran off with it.
Some time later it snapped back, flying in from a distance. We never knew what she had done with it or why she returned it, until now!

Oooohhh... my that was a while ago wasn't it? Now I need to go back and start re-reading from the beginning to see how everything ties together now that I know how it all plays out.
So what was the Starswirl spell that was adjusted?
Ok. I still think more resolution is needed. Why did the other Celestia do it? What does the real Celestia intend to do? which Celestia was silver with in Anugypt?
6678252 Intend to do about what, specifically?
6678226 Watch the season finale.
6678315 Which season?
6678330 5
6678312 The pony inquisition. The crazy ponies obsessed with a weird sense of what is a sinful pony and what not. Also, what about blueblood he must be thinking some very strange things. Also, what does Celestia plan to do about Silver surely she has a plan for her and the future etc.
6678373 Poor Blueblood is so confused. Auntie, why...
6678315 - OK, now I really understand, you were referring to the FIM Season 5 finale.
Now that I have seen it myself, yes, it's uncanny how cleanly your story and the show have meshed on this point. Almost makes me want to check the backgrounds for Silver and family cameos.
A most excellent convergence of ideas!
6678555 I will also note that Silver has clearly rubbed off on Twilight, who forgave Starlight damn well instantly the moment the option was available.
Haha, are you in cahoots with the show writers?! This definitely enhances the season finale to a more acceptable rationale.
Poor, poor Blueblood. Celestia is going to have a nice therapy session with him we think...
Keep going! ;)
6678801 He was trying so hard to dig to the bottom of Celestia's scheme.
6678819 right? That had to be fairly devastating!
6678821 He deserves all the hugs.
6678824 oh, maybe three or so. More than that would be socially awkward. ;p
That... actually DID work our perfect for Siver. I won't even holler "Why, Foo stealer?". You called Starlight out as not-a-bad-pony long time back. You did't even steal that waifu. The show writers were like, "Okay, David, we'll make you're waifu not-evil."
6678939 It was a perfect storm of canon validation.
You should have had Silver mention that she died. And at Starlight's shocked look, had her say "I got better."
I still don't know why Celestia mk.II did what she did! That really bugs me! (No pun intended...) She was casually playing with many, many lives and we know her plan messed up. But why? What was she actually trying to accomplish? How could this scenario possibly benefit anyone? Especially because Celestia mk.I is not Celestia mk.II, and everything mk.II was doing would reflect on mk.I.
Several times.
Oh, here she is. Well, I expected some more Silver's involvement into time-traveling world-wrecking shenanigans.
On the other hoof this entire story is one.
