Both on the edge of adulthood, they found each other, but look out over a vast and terrifying time. Hand in hand, scales against feathers, they draw strength as they take the next step together. Spike and Gabby had much to look forward to. A Spike and Gabby slice of life that follows them through the good times and the bad, starting with Spike's moving away from Ponyville.

Set after the series, but before the epilogue.

A spell goes hay-wire and Twilight goes missing. Leaving Spike completely alone, yet he hopes that one day Twilight will return.

Memories hold many strengths and weaknesses. They are the keys to unlocking inner potential, and for Twilight that is no different. During her most helpless hour, she is visited by many ghostly memories of experiences that forged one of her strongest bonds. Through them, she is able to find the strength to carry out her duty and stand by her friend's side in his time of need.

But is she too late?

Hearth's Warming is coming up, and many a pony are making preparations for the seasons. Among them is Spike and Twilight. Twilight needs the dragon to head out to get a few last things for an upcoming celebration with friends. Unfortunately, in his search, he ends up bumping into a few strange plants.

When everyone else turns out to be too busy to do it, Spike volunteers to babysit Princess Flurry Heart for the day. He does his job all right for the most part, but things begin to shake up a bit when Sweetie Belle stops by and insists she help Spike take care of the baby. After some hesitation, Spike relents and decides to let Sweetie Belle help him. The day goes on and Spike and Sweetie Belle babysit Flurry Heart together, almost like their own little family.

Spike has had enough of being treated as a slave instead of a friend. He works, cleans, does chores for Twilight and her friends, and gets abandoned. Being sick and tired of being used as a tool, an object for his so-called friends, he wishes for better life without them. Little did he know that his wish was going to grant him the best adventure ever.

While Spike is gone, Discord is going to disguise himself as Spike to see if Twilight and her friends are worthy to be Spike's friends or not. Change is on the horizon in Equestria for everyone. However, some changes are not for everyone.

I lost count of how many times the story was featured after 100 times but it started on June 16th, 2021 since I mainly publish chapters late at night. (Habit of mine)

Ever since he and Twilight Sparkle had first moved to Ponyville, Spike's had a crush on Rarity. At first he'd thought it was a secret - the big secret in his life - but he'd soon come to realize that the signs he had been displaying since day one were...really, really obvious. His first reaction had been mortification, followed by anger (after all, how could his friends have just let him act like that?!), but eventually he'd come to the conclusion that, sometimes, a friend within a circle just happens to develop a crush upon another friend, and that it's really no big deal.

But then something starts to nag at him: If Rarity's known about his feelings for some undetermined amount of time, how come she's spent all this time without even acknowledging that she does know? So, he decides to ask if he can come over for tea, with the intention of discussing these thoughts and feelings with her.

NOTE: Sex tag is for brief mentions of it during their conversation. There's no explicit talk, and it's not a recurring point of discussion.
