Erin has been plagued with strange, often painful dreams her whole life. She has a strict medication regiment she has to ahere to in order to keep her dreams and the strange other personalty she shares her head with at bay. On her twenty fifth birthday however her life takes an even greater turn for the bizarre when she discovers a cutie mark has appeared on her hips. Princess Celestia's cutie mark. Now she's changing into a pony with no clue as to why, and the only help she can turn to may in fact be her greatest hindrance.

Set in the TwistedSpectrum's Five Score, Divided by Four setting. If you haven't read it yet I'd recommend giving it a look. Very interesting concept. Though the whole time I was reading it I kept wondering where the Princesses were. He said he didn't plan on using them so I decided I'd have a go at a side-story in his cool universe. XD

Twilight Sparkle has earned quite a reputation in her young life. She's helped defeat Nightmare Moon and Discord, saved Ponyville from a rampaging Ursa Minor and a swarm of Pinkie Pie clones, authored the best-selling HUMAN trilogy of novels, and was recently crowned Equestria's fourth Alicorn princess. With so much fame attached to her name, it's no wonder she's offered the chance to adapt her HUMAN trilogy to Crystalvision. The question to ask is, how long will it take before the lavender princess cracks under the stress of balancing her royal duties with leading HUMAN's production? Probably Definitely sooner than she expects.

The first few chapters actually follow up the events of The Bold, The Brash, and The Beautiful, in turn setting up everything for the HUMAN sequel proper. Reading that story isn't necessary to enjoy or understand this one, however.

(This is a bit of an experiment based on the worldbuilding concepts presented in AnonAuthor's Xenophilia [[NSFW] - caveat lector!], which intrigued me enough to want to take a closer look. It's likely you'll be very confused by this unless you read at least some of Xenophilia. Updates will appear as and when an idea pops into my head for a thing to add. And fair warning, some of this might come across very dry and dusty. Thank you academia! Few ponies in Canterlot and Ponyville still suffer from the Blank Plague, but there's one very important exception. Princess Luna sequestered herself away from pony contact so she could raise the sun and the moon by herself while Celestia was ill. But Luna cannot live alone forever, so she must expose herself to the plague and endure its effects just as Celestia and Cadence did, while Celestia resumes commanding the sun and the moon once more.

Bellerophon Michaelides, the only human in Equestria, hence the only being immune to the magic-devouring plague, must tend to Luna as he tended to Celestia, with a recovering Twilight Sparkle staying by his side. But Luna has other duties beyond moving heavenly bodies, and dreams do not abide the light of day. Darkness does not rest lightly.
