Sigh. Always the extremists. Doesn't matter who says what or what anyone does. They are blind to the world around them and only see what they want to see and cannot be convinced or forced to see or do anything different... Sadly the only thing you or anyone really can do is put them down like the mad dogs they are before they hurt anyone further.
No one expects the pony inquisition!
6607326 Okay, it took a minute of slinging ink at paper while riding a train but THIS is what came of that.

I call it, Silver Stars Final War Form. I'm assuming war-form ponies can chanel magic through their hands. If not call it artistic liscense. Demon Ponies. Ypu made that a thing. I'm totally running with it.
6636660 Looks appropriately terrifying.
6636241 I agree. After all, they are finding out so much information, are seemingly in any place and access to all the top information... Yet they don't know that Celestia and Luna are also Humans originally?
These guys obviously aren't ponies, for they don't act like ponies, killing themselves and eachother which the guy in this chapter just said was "Disgusting", don't rationalize as ponies since they will not listen to him at all but won't try any other source of information, and keep secrets from their goddesses/rulers, believing they are suddenly corrupt, something a pony wouldn't believe so easily, especially since no Dark Magic was involved and they would be able to Detect it or mind control.
And seeing from what we've seen in this chapter, they don't even know what is going on or why, they didn't even try to understand it, or try to Friend Silver and see how he really is for themselves. How can an organization, a big one able to hide among the Castle Staff and able to cover stuff up from everyone, even Luna and Celestia and their loyal staff, one easily happy to kill themselves and others off, be so ill informed? It doesn't make sense.
6636909 You are making vast assumptions on the knowledge of an entire organization from the words of one member.
Dangerous.
6636911 True, but it seems like they were created just to take out Silver. And now they have him and are going to take him out. So must assume whoever is there must be high ranking, for if it was someone lower ranked, they might miss something, or not know something, and probably weak willed and easily caught, turned, or killed.
a chapter to think about I am really starting to dislike these pony's and now they are on my hate list how dare they use a foal as a weapon agents Silver.
Well, I goes we are in for plan 6b since Night and Fast know (at least). I'm assuming Twilight hasn't placed any tracking or targeting spells on the horn blocker or anything of that nature. Let's further assume that the captors will not stay in the cottage and instead use some undetectable means of transport (which means hitherto unknown, because all known methods of transport currently known to us have a particular signature).
We predict the most likely route will be to blanket the area in chaos magic after a standard long-distance teleport to a location outside standard passive sensing range guesstimated for an Alicorn, after which less esoteric means will be used.
I just hope you rationalizing for these ponies pays off, because so far their execution is almost flawless, a characteristic not very common in anyone or indeed any organization...
Keep going! ;)
Kind of sad that, as I read this, I just think how this is all typical fanatic behavior.
6797238 War. War never changes.
It seems it frequently talks as if it was the filly that was foalnapped when last chapter specified it was the colt
Yet the entirety of this chapter it keeps referring to her as if it was clear twilight that was foalnapped rather than morning glory
6913766 Oops, that particular bit fixed at least. Dramatic times, dramatic typos!
Silver "bared" her teeth "for" a moment.
Shouldn't that be "the reason he comes to harm"?
More instances of referring to Silver's kidnapped foal as "she," when I'm pretty sure they're supposed to be "he" (if not, then the earlier references to "he" and "him" in this chapter and the previous one need correcting).
There are more of these later on, which I won't note for the sake of brevity.
There are two spaces between the ellipsis and "the."
6950041 Typos seen out of the viewing theatre.
Well...that was sobering. I'm saying that because the only other way I can approach this chapter is with a great deal of anger.
These villains are, at this point, little more than the Pony Inquisition (hence why we didn't anticipate them: nopony expects the Pony Inquisition!). They've created and adopted a narrative, and aren't interested in counterpoints, debates, or even facts. All they want is affirmation that their views are the correct ones, and the elimination of anything that disagrees with them. At this point, they've devolved into little more than fanatics. To be fair, that was rather self-evident before, but this chapter showcases it with no ambiguity remaining. This showcases once again that anything, taken to the extreme, becomes destructive.
What boils my blood is someone so in the wrong is displaying so much righteous indignation. To have those who do evil angrily demanding that they be recognized as exemplars of virtue is a miscarriage of justice of the highest order, and such individuals deserve to not only be dealt with using extreme prejudice but also made to fully comprehend the depths of their perfidy and wallow in the regret that knowledge brings. I recognize that that may sound harsh, but the combination of indignation, self-righteousness, and hypocrisy tends to elicit an extremely wrathful response from me.
Nice shout-out to the whole "poisoned door-handle" thing, though.
EDIT: I was a little too wrapped up in my rage to mention the other parts of this chapter. Specifically, it was nice to see that Night was already sticking close to Silver after what happened. She'll hopefully be Silver's saving grace. Likewise, the scene with Mayor Mare was also nice; she's too often ignored insofar as being a town functionary goes. For that matter, the backdrop of a peaceful Ponyville did a very good job at quietly calling out the larger picture regarding what was a stake beyond the kidnapped foal.
6950060 Fanatics, gotta love 'em, or hate them, either way, you feed into the cycle of misery. Silver's doing his best to not play that game either way, but offering a hoof of friendship isn't yielding too much in return just yet. Perhaps more patience is required?
There were many who claimed she should have exploded in a ball of arcane fury about here.
That should be "him" right?
On another note, this fanatical idiot is like listening to an ISIS idiot, jabbering their stupid ideals without backing it up with truth or discussion with an open mind. Enough said, where's my M134 rotary cannon, time to clean house.
This Stallion is a Dalek puppet. i.pinimg.com/736x/3a/6d/1e/3a6d1e70b2ef404cba48b2be3e455b92--my-little-pony-friendship-doctor-who.jpg
I’m imagining his voice as a Dalek.
