Twilight Sparkle wakes up one morning to a harsh dose of unreality. She is stranded, without her friends, on an island which matches no known locale on Equestria. It's springtime in Equestria and Twilight Sparkle and Princess Celestia find themselves out of sorts despite the gorgeous weather. Luna and Rarity both think they know the reason behind their moodiness and set out to make sure that true love blossoms - but will an unfortunate misunderstanding keep the two star-crossed lovers apart forever?

An "experiment" gone wrong, a death knight finds himself, his brother and their guild scribe in Equestria, in the shape of the equine race known in this realm as ponies.

As the night approaches, they set up a make-shift camp. Having no need for sleep, the death knight naturally acts as the night watch. To pass time, he starts writing in his journal.

Little does he know what the future has in store for him and his fellow misfits. After all, the universe is an obnoxious bastard.

This is my first romance fiction, made with Spitfire because there isn't ever enough Spitfire. It's mostly a project I threw together in my spare time, but I will try to work on continuing it when I get the chance. I do have to admit that I kind of suck at creating romantic tension.
