Hygonon, Isabella, and Matilda Keizhal, a very close family, wind up in Equestria, having been plucked by unknown means from their home world of Arath.

A/N: This is an experimental character study piece, done as practice writing rather than as an actual, independant story. That said, it is a story. I've posted it for you to enjoy, anyway.

For years, Twilight Sparkle and Queen Chrysalis have been at each other's throats. Both have experienced victory over the other, and both have experienced defeat. Out of all the creatures in Equestria, none despise each other the way the pony Princess and changeling Queen do. They seemed destined to remain locked in battle forever, or at least until one is finally dead at the hooves of the other. The cruel insults, the vicious loathing, and the powerful spells that have passed back and forth between them at each meeting have become the stuff of legend.

Imagine Twilight's surprise when she finds out changelings consider this dating.

And now they're married.

Canterlot is getting ready for the wedding of the century, Princess Mi Amore Cadenza is marrying the Captain of the Royal Guard and part of the draconic royal family will be in attendance. In addition to helping prepare the most high profile wedding Equestria has seen in living memory, Celestia has tasked Sunset Shimmer and the rest of the Elements of Harmony with befriending the future queen of the Dragon Empire and her entourage, the first Sorcerer the Empire has ever had. Dark days have begun to cloud the great kingdom of Equestria. Towering bipedal creatures with leonine faces and skin like stone have been seen attacking its towns, striking without warning before vanishing. Trusting in her student and her friends, Princess Celestia has called upon the Bearers of Harmony to seek out these intruders and discover their intentions.

Twilight seems to be having her own problems at the moment, however. Shadowy nightmares plague her every night. Dreams of dark betrayals, fel deals with fiery harbingers, and whispers of promises of true power. In her dreams lies a world of war and violence, a place of alliances and hordes battling for supremacy. Worse still...in the back of her mind, a voice haunts her with whispers of a warning, a threat.

Ponies have spread to the stars thanks to advances in technology. In the advanced and luxurious Solar Explorer, Celestia travels to the first extra-solar colony world set up by her little ponies. Unfortunately, events elsewhere in the galaxy, unknown to them, have set in motion a cycle that has been repeated for countless eons… the reaping of sentient races. A Reaper dreadnought confronts the Solar Explorer, intent upon indoctrinating the leadership of the ponies and bringing them to heel.

Said Reaper quickly learns exactly why Celestia has earned the title Unconquered.

This is such a drag, but if I don't make these things the purple princess will scold me some more.

As if being sent to a world filled with talking, magic ponies and being turned into a sword wasn't enough, but now I wake up after... who knows how long with holes in my memory. A shame one of those holes wasn't through succubus' chest. I guess I'm kind of lucky one of the ponies has magic that can help me, as long as she doesn't bring her friends around that knocked me off a balcony.

When I find Sunny, we're taking a nice long nap. I'm gonna need it after dealing with all of these nut cases.
