Both Link and Epona race to fight evil once again, however once they make it to the thing that is behind all the monsters that roam Hyrule, they get a big surprise. Once again, Equestria is threatened by evil and Link is once again called to the line of duty. Isn't he?

As for editing, you did pretty well. I didn't notice any mistakes, though I wasn't specifically looking for any, and if there was they weren't glaring mistakes that stood out. Maybe punctuation errors, but I didn't see any.

A few hiccups in the grammar but nothing that distracts to much from the story. I do wonder though; why would Epona check if she was still a mare? Why would she not be? Anyways, good start so far but you really should have a human tag, even if link turns into a pony he was still shown as human at one point.

In my opinion you did get Link's personality right. How he behaves depends on the situation. If it calls for seriousness he is serious and if it doesn't then he is playful. After all in Twilight Princess he was friends with the kids in his village. Generally speaking kids don't hang around people who are always serious since they are less fun.
