Inspired by a Tumblr post here, about what would happen to the show if Twilight Sparkle was killed off and Tempest Shadow introduced in her place.

I made the first chapter of this story as an entry in More is Less, but since getting ideas for new additions to the world, and not feeling like they all properly fit the mold of that anthology series, I have decided to put them into this story.
This is still, on some level, an anthology, but all the events are related and I’m just looking into them at different points, akin to a normal story but with more time between chapters.

When Sunset got accused of going back to her old ways, she was naturally confused and upset as anyone would be. Everyone thinks she's guilty until her framers accidentally post the wrong image and Sunset sees a groupchat her friends have insulting her and she is pissed.

A thousand years ago in Equestria, Luna's frustration and desperation has been building for years and years as her social and political isolation grows, but just before Luna's jealousy and resentment can turn into murderous hatred against her sister, a new event triggars Luna's mental collapse and pushes her over the edge. When Luna by circumstance finds herself alone in Celestia's room she reads her sister's diary out of curiosity and discovers all of the disparaging criticism that Celestia has leveled at her over the years about how much of a nuisance Luna has been to her, but has been too polite to say directly to Luna's face.

Luna and Celestia had always supported and stuck with each other all their lives. Even when the common-ponies critisism and shunning of her was at its worst, the knowledge that her sister loved her kept Luna going. The realization that nopony, not even her own sister valued her or thought she was fit for the throne completely shattered whatever remained of her fragile psyche.

And so Luna just gave up...

She gave in...

If no one wanted her there...

Then she wouldn't stay there...

She would leave.

Sunset Shimmer is a former tyrant, half-pony freak, and CHS' resident Friendship Chick. Twilight Sparkle is a former loser, absolute genius, and a complete nervous wreck.

When the new Twilight transfers to CHS, Sunset doesn't think much of her. But it doesn't take long for the two to become best friends — and change each other's lives in ways neither saw coming.

The first year of Sunset and Twilight’s relationship, told in real time through vignettes, text messages, snippets, and more.

Every chapter in this story takes place at a specific date and time on the 2023 calendar.

They’d planned it out together. The perfect senior skip day. The amusement park, the rides, the shows, the bonding, and the massive afterparty at Pinkie Pie’s house. With dancing, games, friends from all over CHS, and lots and lots of alcohol. 

Only sometimes drinking makes you do stupid things. Like one of your best friends. Now Sunset and Rainbow have to piece that night back together, figure out their feelings, and clean up after a hoard of drunken teens. All while dealing with the hangover.

The narcotics tag is only for alcohol and the sex tag is only for mentions of past intimacy. No actual smut in this one. Hope you all enjoy!

Imagine a world where the laws of physics have been flipped. Everything you've ever known is completely different. In this world is another you. But what would you think if this other version of you had a better life? An easier life? Would you want to go home? Would you be mad?

This is a more talkative-fic, and less focused on story. I thought it be cool to try and fill in a bunch of holes that kids cartoons tend to leave. I don't expect story writers to explain every little detail about a cartoon. That's where I come in, though, so it's a win-win.

Life's been hard for Sunset ever since the Fall Formal. She's chronically lonely, much of her free time is dedicated to work and studying, and her classmates still don't trust her. Regardless, she's committed to making things right and improving herself one day at a time.

Most of her new friends are trying to make her feel welcome, but everything feels so forced and awkward at first. This is made worse by Rainbow Dash who seems intent on making things difficult for Sunset. Are they just incompatible? Or is there a deeper reason they can't seem to get along?

This story begins a couple months after the events of the first Equestria Girls movie.

This also takes place before the events of "Can You See What I See?", but you don't have to read that to understand this or vice versa.

The magical land of Equestria is no more. Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, and Starlight Glimmer just want to know why.

And if that means Sunset has to go back to Equestria, an Equestria she doesn't even recognize... then so be it.

Takes place after Friendship Games, but before Legend of Everfree has a chance to happen.

"I shine brightest in the dark. I am there but cannot be seen. To have me costs you nothing. To be without me costs you everything"

The world ended, a plague turning unicorn and alicorn alike into bloodthirsty monsters.

In its aftermath, with her lands and ponies still recovering, Princess Luna leads a team to the isolated village of Somnambula, the last part of Equestria left unaccounted for.

There are doubts that anypony survived in the month-long heat. But among the ruins of a civilization older even than her own, the Princess holds out hope.

This story is a sequel to And Hell Followed

A plague ravaged Equestria, turning all of the unicorns and alicorns into bloodthirsty monsters bent on killing all the other races in a genocidal rage. A small cadre lead by the Elements of Harmony survived and persisted in Ponyville, and even managed to reverse it all at the cost of their lives.

Now Equestria must rebuild.

In Manehattan, Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna must find a way to ease racial tensions while keeping the teetering nation safe and also rebuilding the lost trust of the little ponies of Equestria. Elsewhere, Cheerilee and Scootaloo must find their way in this new world.

There are only two options left. Rebuild Equestria stronger than ever, or be scattered to the winds of history.
