Even typos like that one don't faze you?
6364813 perhaps he meant phase, as in phase out of the world?
I do so hate it when my mount teleports from underneath us.
Keep going! ;)
6364813 Nope. Nothing's going to bring me down!
there is just so much going on in this chapter and at the same time I have a feeling we are closing in on the end of this book of Silvers life.
this story has ben a super ride good and bade life and death I just don't know really what to say other then this is a dam good book.
I am hoping the funeral for Aila will be happy and that she will have a place of honor for her and her unborn foal.
Harts Fire
All aboard to Ponyville and silver finally gets to reunite with the herd Great chapter if a bit on the fast side but I look forward to the reunion...and the inevitable Pinkie Party(wondering how Nefertari will react to the pink menace)
It'll be a big family "outing."
There are two spaces between "choose," and "to."
The crowd "happily" followed her.

6368123 It's nice that we get to see the group returning to Equestria. I say "returning" because this is a homecoming for Silver (and Celestia) even though it's unfamiliar territory for the rest of the group. Still, this seems to mark that we're moving into "the end of the end." I suspect that it won't be very long now until things wrap up. That's not to say that we should skimp on the issues of re-entry - Silver has to reconnect with his wives, meet his children, and check on how the newcomers he brought with him are settling in - but once that happens, we're pretty much done.
What caught me by surprise is that Bottom isn't going to be going with Silver. That seems like it's somewhat out of left field. Silver had talked to her about this before, it's true, but unless there's something I'm forgetting (which is entirely possible) she was always firm, or at least as firm as someone as docile as her could be, about being head-over-hooves in love with him and wanting to bear his foals as a broodmare. Now she's all "I know you want me to be independent, so I'll go and be independent"? This isn't necessarily unbelievable, but it's a bit too much of a curve-ball.
That said, I did like the part with Shei; they've been carrying Aila's body on board for far too long, and I can only imagine how badly she must want closure by now. I really get the feeling that she wants to, and is ready to, move on, even if Aila's passing still hurts. Once again, Patty is the voice of wisdom in that regard. I hope we get to see Shei starting to let go and look towards the future soon.
The entire situation with Nefertari keeps sending signals that seem weirdly mixed to me. At the most basic level, Nefertari is saying "I choose you" while Silver is replying "no thanks." Okay, fair enough, but what makes it odd is how unclear those messages are. Nefertari doesn't seem to be able to speak without uttering a combination of innuendo and confidence/arrogance, which makes her quite often maddeningly indirect...though given Zecora's nature, I have to wonder if this is a requirement for being a shamaness. On the other hoof, there's no reason for Silver not to sit her down and say "listen, we need to talk. I'm not going to marry you or have sex with you again." Of course, that's presuming that he really doesn't want her... (and, you know, she might be pregnant).
I also noted that Fiddah is becoming amusingly uptight! It's rather adorable that she becomes even more anal about getting everything "right" when she's nervous. It's understandable, given that she comes from a background where a premium is put on both decorum and efficiency, but seeing her all wound up now it too cute.
I should note that that lunar pegasus that asked Silver how his trip was was clearly being an idiot, or at least very insensitive. Clearly the trip didn't go that well, he's carrying a casket!
6368503 You call him an idiot, but allowing myself to consider the guy for even one moment, it becomes quite clear. He's scared, and tired. Something happened around their royalty. Did anything good come of it? Is it more bad news to add to the heap? Rather than assume, he landed and just... asked.
Silver answered. They are both happier ponies for the decision. He got to hear of wild adventures and that, in the end, more good came than bad, and he got to meet his lunar princess(prince) one more time, without terrorist attacks.
6368540 I disagree; he was so utterly lacking in tact that it was appalling. When you see someone carrying a coffin, that's the worst possible time to go up to them and make small talk. And then to ask "did everything go alright," as though the presence of them handling the arrangements for someone who's died wasn't a clear enough answer...that's in such poor taste that it's mind-boggling.
6368558 Well... I think I'm done. It was an ornate box, sized for an adult saddle arabian. They have no religious iconography to fall back on, and they were being low-key about it. Why would anyone assume this is a coffin, with a corpse in it? Why would Equestria assume this?! This is so anti...
I'm done.
6371747 I don't agree, but I also don't want to cause any upset, which I seem to be doing quite a bit lately, so I'll let it go (save to mention that we're going over the one bad point in what was otherwise a very positive review).
Typo Alert!
Makes more sense if he says "choose" in each case.

Who was that stallion Silver was talking to?
