Octavia Melody and Vinyl Scratch are musicians and the best of friends; despite this, the two couldn't be more different. But when Octavia leaves Ponyville to find her fortune, she learns that her friend might have been all she ever really needed. Meanwhile, Vinyl finds herself trapped in the shadow of her father, struggling to make her own fame.

Follow them, and many other Equestrian musicians, as they further their musical careers, meet new friends, find love, and experience loss. Together, they encounter dangers, challenges and, ultimately, face the greatest realization of all - what it means to accept one's own destiny.

Using songs of the fandom for inspiration, this story was crafted to show the love of music in all it's forms, but also the love music brings to those around it. This story follows the timeline of the show, trying to match it as closely as possible. This does not mean it's not without bumps.

Golden Shield was found by Princess Celestia when he was four. The princess did everything she could to find his birth parents, but nothing came up. She agreed to adopt and raise this little colt until his parents were found. After many years, Golden has a family of his own. He has a loving wife and kids, amazing friends, and a new born baby. These are his stories.

There isn't a real story line to follow. Just a group of stories about Golden Shield and his family. Hope you enjoy them.

However when she thought of going to that certain place she missed, she kind of screwed up...big time. We were formed 200 years ago, when the mighty Starswirl The Bearded created the Elements of Harmony. These Elements have been passed down through the generations, picking their own Bearers. This generation, the Elements picked six strange girls to Bear them. A farmer, a street performer, a baker, a scholar, a tailor, and an animal caretaker.
With these girls at the helm of the Brotherhood, we hope to end the Templar's activities in Equestria. Though that may bring the entire government to its knees.

"Everything scared me. The thunder, the twisted trees, and the darkness. The darkness was the worst. Everywhere I ran, it followed. No matter how fast or in what direction it was there....I cried out for my mother, but there was no response. Every cry was ignored, until she came."

While on her way back to Canterlot, Princess Celestia must stop in Ponyville for the night while a storm blows over. She finds a young colt crying for his mother in the Everfree Forest. He only remembers some basic spells and his age. She takes him back to Ponyville, only to learn that no one has even seen him before. The Princess takes him back to Canterlot and tries to find him a home, but something happens that changes all of that.

This is my first story so please be honest with me and help me become a better writer.

Octavia, a young cello player during one of Equestria's most artistic eras, is confronted by a strange hooded woman. After this, her world is turned upside down as she learns that Equestria is under a secret war between the Templar Order and their quest for Absolute Equality and the Assassin Brotherhood who fight for Freedom. Both want answers from her about her suspicious past. Octavia must brace herself for what could come from these bold organizations and these mysterious "Bearers of Harmony" she keeps hearing of.
