We’ve all had nightmares, but do any of us actually know where they come from?

What if, one day, you woke up as the embodiment of nightmares themselves?

In an alley one night, Joseph gets fatally injured after saving a woman from her terrifying nightmares.

He wakes up somehow, but he quickly finds out that he isn’t in his own body. Instead, he wakes up in the body of one of Equestria's most infamous villains.

Joseph must adapt to a world completely alien to him, as well as adjusting to his new body while trying to figure out what, or who he is.

Melissa, age 14, and Joshua, age 11, are taken from their parents to magical land called Equestria where humans are treated at best as little servants, or pets to be taken care of, at worst as disposable toys.

Some are easy to fix. Some are not. Some create such turmoil in our lives that it seems we will be swallowed up by them.

When a wounded monster, like nothing anypony has ever seen before, wanders out of the Everfree Forest, Lyra Heartstrings, Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy get a lesson in what happens when we try to run from our mistakes.

When a human appears in Equestria and is considered a threat, he is forced to flee from everything in the new land with nobody to help him while he is chased by colorfull ponies that want nothing but put him in a cage.

My name is Kadie, and when I was eight years old, my people, the griffins, went to war with the ponies of Equestria. My mother never wanted me to think about that, so she never talked about it. The Emperor told my father that he had to go off and fight the ponies, though, so I know that she thought about it a lot.

A few months after I turned ten, a messenger came into our town and told us that our emperor didn't want to fight anymore, so the ponies won, and we lost. Mother said that since we lived so close to our capital, we needed to go see the pony army meet our emperor.

I did not like that.

A holiday fast, commemorating the defense of the wishing star from changeling armies, sharpens Rarity and Twilight Sparkle's appetites just as some very lost Bronycon attendees crash out of the Everfree Forest. Rainbow Dash finds herself wrenched apart by conflicting loyalties. Fluttershy gains, and loses, a pet. Applejack relates to somebody. Spike will execute a cunning scheme, but finds himself torn between the two unicorns that matter the most to him. Pinkie Pie explains why "Cupcakes" is a silly fanfic and tries to quell bloodlust with pineapple inside-out cake.
Friendships will be tested. Hearts will be broken. Secrets will be revealed. Also, magic kindergarten.

When humans come to Equestria, it's not the ponies that should be afraid.
