In the castle of Canterlot, late at night, princess Celestia was reading a book, trusting that her student would do a better job that she or the royal guard. She didn't expect anymore letters from her in a while, and surprised was an underestimation when she saw the magical smoke float through the window until it was in front of her, condensing into a rolled parchment.
She got a bad felling just from seeing it, but she needed to know everything about the human if she wanted to take or not extreme measures. She unrolled it with her magic, and surely it showed what she feared. The human proved to be too much, even for all of Twilight's friends, including the element of magic herself.
"I wish you had not forced me to do this, but enough is enough" she said out loud. She then went for her sister to tell her to prepare for tomorrow.

Fernando fell asleep while he was still floating in the river. This worked in a way that he covered a lot of ground without leaving any traces behind, but it backfired in the fact that as far as he knew he could end up near a house or he could be spotted without any chances of escaping. Luckily everything went fine. He woke up when he got stuck on the riverside, he got out and shivered with the wind from the morning. He looked around, and found that he got quite far. He barely could see Ponyville in the distance, and to the other side there was what looked like a human city. He decided to go for the city, because it would be easier to hide there.

Meanwhile in Ponyville, everypony had woken up extra early to start the search for Fernando. They were all at the library, where Twilight was organizing the teams.
"Okay, now that everypony is ready, let's get the Human Hunters Team divided in three groups. I made these groups considering all of your abilities, as well as your dislike towards Fernando" the last part was said to Rarity, Rainbow and Applejack. "remember: we want him alive and preferably unharmed for his cooperation".
"Now, to the teams. Applejack, you are going to go with Fluttershy" Twilight announced
"Very well" said Applejack
"Okay" muttered Fluttershy
"Rarity, you go with Pinkie Pie" Twilight said next
"Oh, dear" Rarity lamented
"Okie dokie loki!" said Pinkie
"And Rainbow Dash, you are left with me" Twilight finished.
"Okay" she said
"Now, as you might have noticed, in these teams there is a pony that can easily catch up with Fernando and block his path, while the other can restrain him in a certain way" Twilight explained the teams, but AJ lifted her hoof as if she was in the school "Yes, Applejack?" Twilight asked
"I assume that I'm the pony that is going to catch up with the human, but what is supposed to do Fluttershy?" the farm pony questioned. Twilight responded
"She is supposed to use the 'stare'. We don't know if that can work, but if it does, he will be in the presence of the princess in no time"	then she explained all the tactics she thought about with the teams. After that she continued over to the cities "Now you'll choose one of these cities to go" she said as she opened a map of Equestria "he won't be returning to Canterlot anytime soon, so we can discard that one. For obvious reasons Cloudsdale is also discarded, and Manehattan is on the way to any other cities, so we will separate there". 
After crossing the mentioned places, the only big cities that were left were Fillydelphia, Trottingham and Las Pegasus 
"Let's take Las Pegasus, Rarity!" said Pinkie excited "I've heard that they have lots of fun things to do there"
"Pinkie, remember that we're going there for the human" Rarity told her
"I know, but it will be even more fun if we end up in one of those chase scenes from the crime novels!" Pinkie said as she hopped up and down.
"Okay, I say we take Fillydelphia, Fluttershy. I don't have family only in Manehattan" proposed Applejack, excited at the prospect of meeting again her cousins.
"Okay, I don't mind where do we go" Fluttershy said quietly
"That leaves Trottingham to us, Rainbow" Twilight said to the blue pegasus
"I got no problem, after all, I think the guys from Fillydelphia still remember the incident of the water. I still receive letters that make fun of me trying to get Ponyville to beat them!" Rainbow commented.
"Then it's settled" she gave them some glowing parchment "this parchment will go directly to the princess after you write her name at the bottom of the paper, so don't lose it. Write to the princess if you get an encounter with Fernando. It doesn't matter if the result is positive or negative"

At the castle of Canterlot, the princesses were preparing to use a spell that required the magic of both the alicorns to work. It was an ancient spell with the one they could project an image of anything in all the cities of Equestria. They had been preparing it the whole morning since Celestia lifted the sun. 
"Ready, Luna?" Celestia asked to her sister
"Ready, Tia" Luna responded

In the streets of Manehattan, the ponies were going through their usual morning rituals, when they heard the voice of one of their princess. Everyone looked up and they saw a translucent Celestia floating in the sky.
"Citizens of Equestria, I am creating this projection of me to give you all an important message. Two days ago, a creature known as a human, and that goes by the name of Fernando," now instead of Celestia, there is the human "appeared at the city of Canterlot. It's of the highest importance to take hold of him, because we need him for some information and for further study." It was again the image of Celestia "I'm ready to give two hundred thousand of bits to anypony that can capture him and bring him alive directly to me, to the guards that are going to be in the cities the next days," next to the princess there was a generic guard" or to any of the elements of harmony "next to the guard there are now the mane six. "but remember, because of this human trickery, he has successfully got away from me, some of my best guards and all of the elements of harmony, so prepare for anything that he could do. Also, don't fear him. He hasn't hurt anypony, but he still needs to be studied" with that, the image disappeared and muttering could be heard in the streets, but in an alley was the only important phrase that mattered to us
"Shit just got serious" and that was Fernando.

In Ponyville, the mane six had too heard the message.
"Well, looks like the princess got us a little help" commented Applejack
"I just wish that we're not freaking out just for nothing" said, ironically, Twilight.
The trip to the train station was short, but they were constantly interrupted for more information about the human by random ponies. At the train, they could feel all the stares on them for the entire trip. It was especially hard for Fluttershy to handle all that pressure, and she showed it by holding a paper bag to her mouth while breathing
"In and out slow, Fluttershy," tried to help Pinkie Pie "In and out"

At the station in Manehattan, the six ponies tried to not call the attention. Code word, tried. They were about five seconds in the station before they were swarmed by half of the ponies there. If you saw it from a safe distance it was comparable to the incident with Smarty Pants. When Fluttershy had enough, she finally yelled
"LEAVE US ALONE!" and considering it was an actual scream, everypony backed up. When noticing the sepulchral silence, she muttered "sorry" that because of the silence was heard.
Once they were in the streets, and they had escaped from yet another crowd, Rarity finally said
"I actually heard some of the ponies back there saying that they saw Fernando here"
"Well, we can wait one day before heading out" said Twilight "so let's go!" And with that they started to search through the city.

Back with the princesses of Equestria, Celestia was already regretting giving away the notice of Fernando.
"Relax sister. If I was put in your place, I would be more concerned for the sanity of our subjects than for the human" said Luna to Celestia.
"I know, Luna. It's just that if he heard that he might do something extreme. Also, I've done some research and there hasn't been any spells that could make me react like I did some days ago that were meant to transport somepony... err, someone" responded Celestia, explaining her worries.
"Look, if he doesn't makes heavy damage to the integrity of even one of our subjects by tomorrow, I'll assume that he is no threat and I'll go personally to talk to him" finished Luna. "Now, if you would excuse me, I'm really tired and wish to go to sleep" she then went to her room while Celestia found true most of the word from Luna.
"Still, if he really means no bad, will he be able to forgive all of this?" Celestia thought to herself.
