Twilight Sparkle's friends have lived long and happy lives. Now their time is coming to an end, but Rainbow Dash, at least, will not go gently. Twilight has the power to save her friend's life. Is it worth violating the natural order?

Twilight Sparkle, becoming anxious at the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration, which she believes marks the return of Nightmare Moon, beseeches Princess Celestia to do something about it.

Celestia, however, has another, more important task for her; making sure that the Summer Sun Celebration goes off without a hitch. Every year, a different town is chosen to receive the honor of hosting the grand festival.

And the lucky city chosen this year, for this fateful holiday, is none other than the city of Manehattan...

As she stares to her reflection in the walls of gems, she recalls the memories that turned her into a dark being. As she delves into her past of pain, misery, and heartbreak, she discovers that maybe anypony can change... Or can they?

Jon Stewart needs to find a way to get more people to watch his show. To do this he welcomes a new series of guests from a far off land containing monsters, magic, and most importantly... ponies!
Join him on an adventure that has him matching wits with sentient mythical creatures ranging from god-like ponies to a fire breathing dragon! Each "Episode" marks a different MLP character getting a chance to travel to the human world for an interview on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Almost a millennium has passed since the benevolent Princess Celestia's rule came to an end. Under the flag of the Lunar Empire, Equestria has flourished over the centuries, expanding in territory, in science, and in war. However, not everypony is content with the more disturbing directions the Empress has taken in recent years.
