Progress: (verb); to proceed closer to one's destination or goal.
It's usually intuitive for us to judge how close we are to something, how much further we have to go. But for others, data and numbers are a comforting reminder that progress is being made. But what if the numbers say something different? What if you're not growing closer to your goal, but straying farther from it?

Vinyl Scratch and Octavia get an apartment together, and nothing out of the ordinary happens. Just two ponies, sharing a nice apartment, in the nice city of Manehattan... Okay, just kidding. That all went down the gutter the moment Octavia met the party pony. In reality, there's partying, drunkenness, loud music, explosions, banging your roommate, and more situations that Octavia can't even comprehend. Well, that's the life she had gotten herself into.

Just a weird, little story I'm trying out.

While stargazing late one night, Twilight Sparkle notices a mysterious object falling from the heavens and landing just outside of Ponyville. Allowing her curiosity to get the best of her, Twilight goes to investigate, and what she finds surprises her. She finds a brown stallion on the inside of a blue wooden box. Who is this pony and why does he ask Twilight to trust him?

Twilight witnessed something as a filly. Something that changed her life, and eventually led to the strong friendships she has now forged. A sonic rainboom. But due to a mistake she made, Twilight can't remember it, nor does she know it ever existed. On the other hand, Rainbow Dash's life was thrown into turmoil soon after the sonic rainboom. And although she has mostly recovered now, the painful memories continue to lie just below the surface.

It's now the day of the Best Young Flyers competition. What's the worst that could possibly happen?

During Rainbow Dash's first interaction with her friends' Pony Pet Play-Date, she was determined to get herself a pet. However, the way she went about getting one didn't sit well with one particular pony. Having had enough of the Pegasus and her lack of compassion, Twilight Sparkle makes both a brave and stupid challenge that leaves Dash and the rest of her friends wondering if she had gone insane. However, Twilight was determined to teach Dash a lesson, even if it meant getting humiliated. What fate had in store for the unicorn and Pegasus was not what anypony had expected, especially Twilight and Rainbow themselves.

Twilight would love nothing more than for Rainbow to think about her the way she thinks about Rainbow.
Rainbow would love nothing more than if Twilight would just say what she'd love to hear.
Then Twilight messed up.
Bad.

What happens when the Reds and Blues finally get Church out of the Epsilon unit? Caboose decides he wants a turn in the unit, of course! What happens next? Well let's just say he always did say he wanted a pony, now he has a world full of them.
