I may not have been the best student, but to be fair I never put in any more effort than necessary. I barely passed my classes not because I was a bad student, but I just didn't care, even when challenged to a duel I didn't even try to win. This time was the last time as I was caught in a bad mood and actually fought back for once, the loser didn't take too kindly to getting curb stomped by a low level mage who's just short of failing all his classes. You can see where that's going.

Some may recognize the cover art from Lord Despair's story, "A Wizard's Tale". I honestly just typed dark mage in google images and it was one of the first that popped up. How could I not?

Josh and Sam had been friends since school, they had stuck with each other through thick and thin and are now close room mates, always joking with each other yet being there when it really counts. However, when they enter the world of Equestria, they have to start off in a world they know nothing about, doing whatever they can to earn the money to repay the ones that help them while trying to live a peaceful life. One can only hope that their lives are peaceful.

(Hi guys, sorry about the description, I didn't really know how to describe the story. I really want to just say that they go through various crazy antics. Kasin, a low self-esteem 17 year old teenager has just lost everything again. When things seem bleak, he is brought to Equestria where he'll meet six ponies that revive his will to live.

But it won't be all fun and games even if the Elements have a new friend. With the revolutionaries on a rampage, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Kasin must do their best to rise against the foes that threatens the harmony of Equestria and to their friends.

In a region called Warpla, the last of the humans live in various tribes and clans. Hostility still exists in the harsh region over there and the humans remain isolated for hundreds of years.

However, one tribe has reached out to make peaceful negotiations. In the agreement to strengthen the pact between the Tribe and Equestria, they send one student to learn from the School of Friendship. The human's mission is thus: Establish friendly relations and find companions to call their own.

Dan wakes up to something he thought couldn't possibly happen. He's in Equestria. He doesn't know how long he is going to be here for or if there may be some greater purpose for him. All he does know is that he woke up in a tree and fell out of said tree and that even in Equestria it still hurts...oh and the ponies are still adorable.
Who knows? maybe this will turn into a bigger adventure with romance and comedy and stuff...as long as he doesn't do anything too stupid first.
