The lands of Equestria aren't as safe as they once were.

What was once a gently trek across fields of beauty and wonder have changed to battles with spirits and death. Most ponies can't go a few miles without having to battle for their souls against ghosts and spirits, all who wish to drag them to the dead.

And to top it all off there's a creature that haunts a mountain at the edge of Equestria, a creature that no pony has ever fully seen. Fast as a blur and cold as the grave, none know who or what it is.

All we do know is that whenever it appears, it brings disaster with it.

This story is a bit of an experiment for me, so if things seems weird or don't add up all the time, that is why.

Chris and Keon are two zoology majors that get separated from their class after following what Chris believed to be an undiscovered species of bird, during a trip into the Amazon rainforest.

Finding themselves stuck in a pit, they discover an ancient ruin adorned with murals and statues of what they believed to be ponies. They soon realize that the bird in question was the orchestrator of their fate, as they’re brought to what they are certain is their deaths.

Waking up, they are not only separated from each other, but in a new land entirely. Will they take this opportunity to learn about creatures only ever seen in legend, or will they be too busy being studied themselves?

Rated teen for sexual themes, crude humor, mild drug use.

Hmmm... Ever had the feeling that something is missing or wrong? That something shouldn't happen yet it does? Strangely enough, I'm feeling that way. And so does my new allies.

...

...Oh, did I forgot to mention my new allies are a bunch of pony-shaped creatures that feed on love? No? Well, they are. And the leader, Chrysalis, won't bug off me. Heh, get it? Bug off, cuz, you know, they have holes.... and look like insects and.... oh whatever.

The thing is, I'm not exactly a changeling. What's that supposed to mean? It means, I'm a human in a changeling's body........

And I DON'T LIKE IT!

Let's just hope things turn out for the best in the near future... Cuz I'm gonna need a lot of luck and miracles to make it out unscratched... but something tells me in won't be that way.

I have a 'Bitching allowed' rule where if someone dislikes my story, I wish to know why. No matter the reason, I just want to know. Doesn't hurt to know a few things about my story, does it?

And last but not least, The whole story is gonna be affected about how much love it receives. If it is well-received, then it might go further than originally expected. Otherwise, I'll keep it to the same development. Got it?

Long before Twilight and her friends met one another and began reforming villains, equestria had to deal with them much more harshly. To do this, Celestia and Luna once again relied on heroes to solve problems.

Steele Breaker, a young unicorn living with his uncle in a small village, is nothing more than a simple merchant. His talent, however, is swordsmanship. He practices when he can, using a sword left to him by his parents, but he rarely has the free time.

If only he knew just how much that sword was going to come in handy.

My name is Steve Anello, son of Tony Anello. My old man runs the streets of Chicago with an iron fist. He's the big shot around these parts. However that's all about to change. Today is May 1, which means I'm turning 25. I don't know it yet, but my life as well as my body is going to be forever altered. It's going to be tough in the beginning but once I learn to control these "power's", I'm taking over Dad's operation. Falling into a volcano trying to impress people isn't very fun, and while it was quite hot for a very long time, eventually I actually started to feel a tad chilly, after a while though I blacked out, and woke up in a burning field, as a horse no less.

The name's Essence, and at the moment I'm in the land of magical rainbow ponies, magic, and stuff. Woo hoo. While it isn't the worst place I can imagine being, It can be a hassle sometimes, especially when the princesses decide to imprison you in stone and trap you in a star... on accident, of course.

I don't blame them, really. I've had time to think back and I realize my actions were... unwise? Yes, I think that describes it well. My appropriating story took a bit to form, but honestly, most of my adventures were very random. There's also the fact that other people like me are out there. Who knew?

I say like me... well, a little like me. Well, not quite.

I believe introductions are in order:
I am or rather was Leon Ghost, a great engineer and family man with my loving wife Jasmine and my three kids, two sons and a daughter, but I'll give more detail on them in another time. I somehow ended up in another world, likely another universe entirely after buying an Eliacube replica from a strange looking merchant at comic con. I have become the character I was dress as which was Nox from Wakfu, but these days I am known as Nox(imilien) Chronos. I have been trapped in a time stasis for exactly 1126 years, 7 months, 2 weeks, 1 day, etc....being a wielder of time gives you a ridiculous ability to near perfectly keep track of any time. I was trapped because of these xenophobic ponies and their idiotic, hothead, paranoid, xenophobic rulers.
These ponies are also foolish, they believe me to be frozen forever and set me up like a trophy in a garden. How I was trapped is a story to be told at a later time. Soon I will be released and I will find my family, and I swear on the name of Xelor that I WILL be free and NO ONE will stop me this time. I went easy on them the first time trying to be the good guy or neutral guy by taking only enough wakfu so they wouldn't suffer any ill side effects.....I am a patience and fair man and they are really pushing my merciful limit.

This is such a drag, but if I don't make these things the purple princess will scold me some more.

As if being sent to a world filled with talking, magic ponies and being turned into a sword wasn't enough, but now I wake up after... who knows how long with holes in my memory. A shame one of those holes wasn't through succubus' chest. I guess I'm kind of lucky one of the ponies has magic that can help me, as long as she doesn't bring her friends around that knocked me off a balcony.

When I find Sunny, we're taking a nice long nap. I'm gonna need it after dealing with all of these nut cases.
