Spike wants to be a pony again and Twilight wants to test a highly dangerous and possibly deadly spell. What could possibly go wrong?

Ending up living with ponies wasn't the plan. Not at all. Not that I really planned on leaving the Dragonlands. But perhaps i'll stay, it's not like the idea of going back to unfriendly dragons is appealing. I'm gonna record everything that happens to me, might help me remember things in time.

Note: For this Story, the Alternate Universe tag, refers to the timeline and events of the show and comic books being extended/slightly altered and gaps of the show being filled in from this Point of View. SEX tag is for suggestive terms.

Princess Twilight has just ascended to her throne of friendship and is prepared to tackle her new duties, but Princess Celestia has something of grave importance for her to do first.

She wants her to meet her family.

When Twilight Sparkle had the magical surge that cemented her place as Celestia's student, the amount of power she released not only hatched a baby Dragon, it brought forth something else. Something that shouldn't exist any more.
Something that has Celestia worried.

A fluffy puppy.

[Despite the gore tag it's rather light on that, and they have yet to make a lewd tag and there's a bit of that.]

For Doctor Twilight Sparkle, life at Canterlot National Hospital was pretty good. She'd struck up a bond with the director and even had enough time to publish a paper or two. There's only one thing she needs to advance even further: better bedside manner.
For these reasons, Doctor Celestia carts her off to a tiny Ponyville practice. Now, Twilight must find a way to both cure and tolerate the village idiots--and try to convince a certain high-strung healer that she's not after her job.
