Adventure, mayhem, magic of unknown origins. Oh, and talking ponies. These are the strange events that have brought three friends together into the wildest holiday that anyone could imagine.

It starts as a small Halloween chat, where they showcase their costume designs to one another. However, due to events outside of their control, they soon find themselves in a new land during a turbulent time.

Now trapped in a case of mistaken identity, these friends find themselves thrown into the deep end, when a royal wedding they’re asked to assist with is suddenly interrupted, and the three of them soon find themselves on an extended holiday from any sense of reality they ever knew.

Set in the universe of Equestria at War, a mod for Hearts of Iron, and Escalation 84, a submod for EAW.

The year is 1988, a year of turmoil and strife. The United States of America has finally finished its reconstruction, but danger lurks all around. At home, a Griffin nation threatens their neighbors. Across the ocean, Equestria struggles to recover from a civil war.

A military cryptologist was selected to host a political refugee from Equestria: the deposed Lunar Empress.

What do you require to travel to another world while leaning against a lamp post at the start of a storm? A bolt of lightning striking that very pole.
Yep. That happened. It was a sunny day with no expectations of a storm.

Anyway, seems that I didn't die? And on top of that, I'm now in the body of a model I built recently and show up somewhere where two ponies seem to move the sun and moon!? Talk about being speechless after that spectacle.

Anyway, I doubt there is any way to get home. So I might as well see if I can protect this new world. I mean, I am living here now.

In the distant land of Equestria, after banishing Nightmare Moon to the moon for a thousand years, Princess Celestia suddenly finds a newborn human baby boy in a woven basket, causing her to raise him as her own son and as a prince of Equestria. When he grows up, Bowen is about to discover that being a prince is a great responsibility, even if it means finding another way to protect the ones you love the most.

Sweet Rose and Flying Hope are both owned by alejin. Permission was required.

This is based off of “Solar Son” by Sword Master and “An Unexpected Life” by alejin, but with some references to The Lion King, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, The Prince of Egypt, Man of Steel, James Cameron’s Avatar, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Barbie of Swan Lake, Oz: The Great and Powerful, Hercules, Mulan, Barnyard, How to Train Your Dragon, and the Marvel Character Thor, but there will be less violence and death in this one.

Furoato Sho is a young Japanese Senior High school student living in the US. His life is fairly standard, living in the west side of the world as a transfer student. But when not in school doing school work, he animates stick figures fighting other stick figures and posts it in the Hyun's Dojo website. But one day when animating his own character named "Ballista", an accident happened in his apartment and now he suddenly found himself in another world, with different people, in a different body.

Toby was looking forward to a very interesting project for his English class: writing to a complete stranger somewhere in the country to learn about them. However, through some anomaly, his letters make their way to Twilight Sparkle, an alicorn princess in the land of Equestria.

Though confused over how this is possible, Toby and Twilight decide to continue writing to each other, getting to learn all about each other and developing a strong friendship through only their written words.

Inspired by the movie Her as well as a short story I read in middle-school, along with a since-deleted story called Pen Pals by user Justin Daniels.
