//------------------------------// // Moon 3063, Day 24 // Story: Letters From a Friend // by moviemaster8510 //------------------------------// Toby, From this point forward, Spike and I are going to write letters jointly. I also asked his permission to give you a picture of him, and he agreed, so one should be attached with this letter. To answer your questions about how our days, nights, and weather works, our two princesses raise the sun and moon each day and night, respectively. Pegasi are typically in charge of the weather (at least in determining the types of precipitation we get), but we all do our part. Every fall, Ponyville has this big hoofrace called the Running of the Leaves that help shake the leaves off the trees with our galloping. And we also partake in Winter Wrap-Up, where we plow snow off the lands, wake up hibernating animals, start growing crops, all the stuff I assume happens on your world, except, it seems to happen without any intervention on your part. I mean, sure, how your world functions on that end may not sound as fun, but the fact that your world has all of that just by happenstance is breathtaking on its own. You should consider yourselves so fortunate. Also, I'd really like you to not mention your horror stories to Spike as little as possible. That movie summary you sent was disturbing enough for me, and I can hardly imagine how Spike would react to something like that! Twilight ________________________________________________ Hey Toby, I'm also glad that yesterday is water under the bridge, and I think I'd like to become friends fast too. I mean, it looks like you've spent most of your time discussing boring stuff about how your worlds work, but I'd like to know some of your interests! From the sound of it, you like horror stories. I also like those kinds of stories. Actually, I should say that I like telling them to others and scaring them. I also like comic books. You like superhero stuff too? My favorite food is gemstones. That may sound weird, but dragons' teeth are sharp enough to eat them. They also taste really good, though most non-dragons wouldn't know. Anyways, I'll leave it with this. Want to hear back from you before bed, you know. Well, talk to you later! From, Spike
